  1. personally i like the sound of open headphones for live concerts, i am constantly listening to live shows and sealed cans sound to echoey for a show, the open just make it feel like your there, especially with a nice FOB recording so grados, senn HD595s are great for this, personally i love grados, but sometimes not enough bass, cant hear mike
  2. true true, ithink i might get those alisandro MS-1s they look promising
  3. no cause he uses them haha, he let me borrow them so i can get a good grasp on the grado sound, but those gift cards work like credit cards, but they dont work to fill a pay pal account (from what i know)
  4. no cause he uses them haha, he let me borrow them so i can get a good grasp on the grado sound, but those gift cards work like credit cards, but they dont work to fill a pay pal account (from what i know)
  5. alright thanks a bunch, also i have found those visa gift cards but still no pay pal
  6. haha i actually found my dads old SR-60s and i love them, obv not good for noise cancel, but as i said birthday coming up hope to buy the MS-1s and get some sort of sealed entry level cans. but i dont find them uncomfortable, and i love the sound of them
  7. What is good for techno? cause i was looking at sealed ones too (birthday coming up). i do listen to plenty of jazz and studio rock though so i should be fine to get it and it be worth it. do MS-1s need a supplimental amp, cause i know they arent as good as a desktop amps but i was just going to get a soundcard (cheaper)
  8. i want to know if the 20 step up is worth it i cant get a clear sense with just stats. please help me out, buying my first pair of headphones, i tried my dads old SR-60s (idk if its the same as the "i") (i if it applies) i listen to mostly jam and live music (audience recordings, or soundboard) but i like techno (bass) and good mids do these work out, or better low cost choice?
  9. alright, so i finished it, sorry for asking so many questions and such. but back to the matter at had. [Edit:] Full-size (prefferably comfy with the donut shaped pads) >150$ for headphones, and if you think it would be worth the money to get an amp, what kind i guess i like lots o' bass so a overall great bass is nice very crisp mids is another thing i like and highs are nice and all but they can sacrifice some quality i will mostly only use these indoors with my computer (and probably use them with my ipod occasionally (i have ety ER-6i's for the ipod)) i mostly listen to Phish, and other jam bands, usually funk/jazz (is what it comes out to be) I also listen to lots of techno (funk and this is where the bass is most important) i have looked at Headphone Reviews :: JVC-Victor HADX3 and Headphone Reviews :: Equation RP21 are these good for the said music type and purpose?
  10. what is suspicious, what am i selling? im asking for you guys to be the salespeople for me, i am new to high quality audio and i would like some guidence, and your right what goes around comes around, so after you help me i will be able to help other ppl out im sorry im a little hyperactive , i do have ADHD haha, but dang dude thats no way to treat a new person asking for help, im sure you were like me at some point.
