  1. She'll probably use something along that line. She'd wait for couple of days, but the person left her both her personal home & cell number - it appears that they really want my wife for the job. Unfortunately, she can't really leverage that into improving the offer since it's a public school job. At least she'll get to have a summer off next year.
  2. My wife had been looking to change her work due to horrible commute (amongst other things) and found out today that she will be getting a job offer at a place that is only 15 or so minutes away (compared to 45 minutes to an hour commute for her current work). While she's excited, she's trying to figure out a tactful way to ask for some time to decide on the offer (assuming the details of the offer is good enough) as she's got couple more interviews coming up next week.
  3. The unread tab on tapatalk doesn't work for me either - for that matter, the damn thing hasn't been working all that well since the move to the current forum software. It's bad enough that I stopped using tapatalk altogether.
  4. I get late start on watching the game and it's already 4-0 Bruins.
  5. Not to mention they supposedly uses some kind of "boost" trick that makes it look faster on speed testing websites.
  6. Color me jealous, Gene. On topic, I got a gravy separater. I really like it.
  7. That's a great news, Al! Damn, Dan, that must've been a birthday party to remember.
  8. Spent the early part of the day cooking - waffles for breakfast, a loaf of banana bread for Libby, and prepped & cooking slow-cooker ribs as I type this. Also too Libby to ride on her first carousel at a local mall - she looked rather serious and looked as though she wasn't sure what to make of it.
  9. Stanley Cup Final I really appreciate that these games start at 8pm and not at 9pm.
  10. Well, I suppose one could buy one and get extra $40 from Apple when you request for a refund.
  11. Oh, I've been watching it. It was great to see Bruins even the series tonight and Thomas get a shutout - imagine where the B's would be had they actually traded him in the offseason like many thought they would.
  12. I got home after work and found the RAM upgrade I ordered from Crucial yesterday waiting for me, even though I didn't pay for overnight shipping. I just successfully finished installing the said RAM without losing any of the tiny screws holding the bottom of the MBP.
  13. A new stand for MBP since the one I have just isn't working well.
  14. Did you really expect unlimited devices for effectively a free service (or ~$2/month service if you choose to pay)? Considering iCloud will be attached to a single iTunes/iCloud account, 10 devices (that are WIFI and/or 3G capable) should be more than enough. As for the storage size reduction, I agree, it sucks, but it's going to be free. Besides, DropBox is a far better solution than iDisk. In regards to new Apple customers and lack of MobileMe, I'm not sure it matters all that much - MobileMe wasn't exactly a successful endeavor for Apple. EDIT - Weird, the forum software keeps adding extra line breaks. As you can see. ^
