I've been using one of these things for couple of years now (back when I was going to get a Mini) without a problem. http://www.belkin.com/IWCatProductPage.process?Product_Id=199956# -

Bon Iver - Bon Iver, Bon Iver

Yeah, I don't think the audience would've appreciated 2 hours of Frodo and Sam going "I'm tired, I'm hurt" over and over and over again.

That doesn't happen with me. When I browse the site on Macs (or other computers for that matter), it stays on regular theme even if I had just browsed it on my iPhone (which shows up in the mobile theme).

Oops, I fixed it. It should be there now (how is it my username and profile name didn't match is beyond me).

FFFFFFFFUUUUUUUU It's a good thing I'm not looking to buy another computer anytime soon. Of course, this means that I may have to convince my wife to get one when her lappy finally dies.

I'd actually forgotten about the Fostex thing and didn't even know about the CypherLabs, but holy crap, the CypherLabs product is pricey. Do anyone know if they have licensing/blessing from Apple in regards to getting digital out from iPhone/iPod (like Wadia) or if they've reverse engineered it?
-
It doesn't. AFAIK, there's no portable DAC solution for iPhone/iPod.

I learned to type on the Model M and an electric typewriter with a mechanical keyboard.
-
You could probably get a decent chunk of change for those IBM keyboards. By the time mine finally broke, I was about to buy a Mac, so I never replaced it. I really liked the tactile and the unmistakeable sound of typing on it. EDIT - I'm sure my landlord was happy when it finally broke.
-
^ I miss my mechanical keyboard - I used one for years with my windows machine. Just bought another Canon E1 hand strap to replace the one I stupidly included in the sale of gripped 50D.

My first contact lenses.

Nice. I wish I didn't have to go into work tomorrow morning.

You know Ken Rockwell loves D40, right?

^ Thanks for the pic/post - I'd been wondering where else I had seen that phrase before.
