I was going to install Lion on my old iMac (no real issue with MBP so far) but the damn App Store is now telling me my credit card security code is invalid, when it's not.

I heard that somewhere as well. It makes sense, smaller the sensor, smaller the lenses can be and size/weight has been one of the big selling point for EVIL cameras. They could go with APS-C sensor, but as you said, that'll eat into the sales of their DSLR and they won't be able to make the lenses all that much smaller due to sensor size (see NEX series). And there's a snowball's chance in hell they'll get into Four Thirds/MFT system.

One annoyance I've noticed with Lion is that it's taking a lot longer than before the upgrade to reconnect to my wireless network after it wakes up from sleep. If I cared enough, I'd check it with my ancient iMac as well, but I haven't upgraded that one yet.

This is a terrible news.

If the rumored sensor size is correct, it's really dissapointng, though I'm sure it'll still sell like hotcakes.

Well, the App Store finally decided my MBP is good enough for Lion. I shouldn't have started the install, though - it looks like the download alone will be taking a while.

I work in Special Education (severe). It's not broken THAT badly. It just looks slightly bent.

Most places did talk about Lion needing at least Core 2 Duo, which didn't show up in intel iMac till 2nd gen. I don't remember Apple really talking about it, though.

So I can't install Lion since the damn App Store keeps telling me I don't meet the system requirement, even though I do.

On a more constructive note, if you underexpose your shots, that can result in more noise. Also, if you are shooting in jpeg, shooting in raw and processing it yourself will most likely give you better result.

Tried to install the baby gate that arrived today. The gate came with few extensions with which one could use multiple combination to accommodate different opening width. One such combination accommodates up to 44" opening. The next combination up starts at 44.5" opening. Predictably, the opening I wanted to use the gate is wider than 44" and narrower than 44.5".

2x 500g bags of genmaicha. Fuck, they've gone up in price.

Predictably, this same cable company recently reassured my father-in-law multiple times they offered HD service in his area, only to tell him otherwise after he had replaced the TV.

My folks' Roadrunner service up in Maine isn't all that great either, though in their case, both download and upload speed are atrocious. Of course, my in-laws' service (cable) is so bad that it's noticeably faster if I leave my iPhone on 3G than use their WiFi.
