  1. ...and I'll be starting this year in both leagues like I have the past two years - with a loss. Hopefully, I won't start 1-4 like I've done the past two years as well.
  2. ^ I wish they weren't killing the Colts so well, though. I've a feeling Johnson, whom I have starting in the first league, won't be playing all that much in the 2nd half if the Texans are ahead by 3+ touchdowns. EDIT - And friggin' Cutler is outscoring Roethlisberger through the first half.
  3. Amount of points D/ST gets based on points allowed is different between the two leagues (e.g., in league one, D/ST gets 10 points for shutout while in league two it gets you 5 points).
  4. Just noticed defense are getting different amount of points between the two leagues. I was going insane trying to figure out why Browns D/ST was getting more points in league one.
  5. Braved the horrible mall crowd to look for shoes for Libby. We actually managed to find couple of shoes we actually liked at Clarks. Unfortunately, one pair wasn't in stock in the size we needed and the other pair wasn't in the stock in the color we wanted. This wouldn't haven't been too much of an issues except that for reasons beyond my comprehension, one cannot order kids shoes from Clarks website in US nor can the individual stores order them for you. Oh, and we also found a nice Middle Eastern restaurant only 10-15 minutes away. We'll definitely will be going back there again.
  6. Now that I'm thinking about it, why aren't we all telling Shelly to get the most expensive lens? And here I thought we were all enablers.
  7. They both do, as long as they're in "new" condition and you keep all the packaging. Depending on how many things you try out, insured return shipping can quickly add up, though.
  8. Just in case you're being serious - Culinary Institute of America.
  9. http://photography-on-the.net/forum/showthread.php?t=1090528 I'm not sure if you can see it without registering, but in short, gripped (3rd party) 40D for $450, and can be converted IR for extra $50. Good thing I don't have money right now.
  10. There are also couple of reports floating around now that he may very well be out for the season. Hopefully that's not the case, as love'em or hate'em, he's great player.
  11. S95 for $339 at Newegg. You gotta put it in shopping cart to get the price. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16830120455
  12. That sounds pleasant. I plan on getting back into mine starting tomorrow after taking an extended break due to lack of willingness to get up at 5.00am every morning. Hopefully, it won't aggravate my wrist any further. Nice! I almost bought that though I ended up going with Digital Holster/Mod components route.
  13. I'll be up there again soon enough, unless my folks move but I doubt that'll be happening anytime soon. Of course, next time will probably be around Christmas, so I doubt I'll be going up to the park. The bad restaurant experience was not at Jordan Pond - that place is awesome, though wee bit pricey. It was at a place in town called Route 66 Restaurant. We went there for a quick bite since it didn't seem as crowded as others and the toddler doesn't like waiting. In retrospect, the fact it wasn't as crowded as other places should've made us weary.
  14. Marc - Sorry to hear about your dad. Sending best wishes your way. Shelly - Here's hoping you guys get decent chunk of rain soon. Just not as much as parts of Japan has received in the past few days. Al - Awesome beer storage! Just got home from my folks' place in Maine. It was nice for us to see them and for them to see Libby, but we sure hate the ~4.5 hour drive. We did get to spend some time today in Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park for a bit. We had the pleasure of having possibly the slowest (and rather unfriendly) waiter ever bringing us crappy food, including really bad Fish & Chips. The national park was really crowded though we did see a lot of fantastic views that would've made for awesome shots - I didn't stop to take any photos since Libby fell asleep almost immediately after we got to the park and we decided she could use a nap (i.e., she'd have woken up had we stopped). So instead, we just drove to the top of Cadillac mountain and drove back out.
  15. Drove my folks' place near Bar Harbor after dinner and getting Libby ready for bed in hope of Libby sleeping through the 4.5 hour drive. It was semi-successful - she slept for about half of the drive. We're hoping she does better on the drive home.
  16. Anyone here have experience with any of the monitor calibration pucks/software and recommend one or the other? After receiving some prints recently, I've noticed that colors (and brightness) are not reflecting what I'm seeing on my screen. FWIW, I'm working with 2011 15" MBP w/ hi-res screen. I wish I was using an decent external monitor, but I've neither funds nor space for one right now (and space is why I'm using a laptop to begin with).
  17. Whatever they are, they will come out 12 months after when they say they will.
  18. On paper, I think my league two team is better than the league one team, though I like my league one team better.
  19. This is probably why Manning didn't go until 4th round. We just don't when he'll be ready to start and when he actually does start, how effective he'll be considering he's basically had no offseason work, thanks to the injury and the lockout. I think this is the first year that I actually like my team on HC league, though a lot of that hinges on MJD's knee.
  20. ^ How many teams in that league? I'm surprised Rodgers and Johnson were both available until you picked (I'm assuming you picked them with the last pick of 1st round and 1st pick of 2nd round).
