Just finished rearranging our living room so we can use the fireplace. We sectioned off the room so it'll at least keep the room warm. Wife and daughter will probably end up going to the in-laws if the power's not back on in the next day or so.

The latest estimate is that "it may be days" before we have our power back.

Power is not back yet and I'm pretty sure there's a tree down in the cul de sac, right in front of oir driveway.

And the power just went out. Lovely.

Winter jacket, snow pants, and boots for Libby. It feels bit defeating, though, since they'll only last a season.

Picked up my car after it had been in a shop for the last 4 weeks. It's good to finally have my own car back.

Actually, these were free or standard shipping since my free Amazon Prime had just ran out (so I can't really complain as long as items get here, but right now I'm not confident of that happening). When I had Prime, anything I had shipped via 2-day or 1-day were either shipped by UPS or FedEx, with 1-day shipping often arriving by 1pm.

Well, it appears they are run by a bunch of 12 year olds. I just checked the status on my packages on the tracking information now provides less information that they did today at my lunch break.
