  1. Went ou t to strawberry picking. It was a success.
  2. And Dinny, while you are at it, pick up yourself a D700 or D800. Btw, anyone looking for a 105dc?

  4. I handled a Canon 70-200/2.8 II couple of years back and one thing I remember is that it was rather heavy - and Nikon one weighs about the same (~3.3 pounds or so), which is to say it weight 2 pounds more than a 18-200. Methinks you should get yourself down to B&H and try it out. I personally wouldn't want to handle that much weight, but I've got tendinosis. Also, from what I read, Nikon 70-200 VR2 is actually bit shorter than 200mm and gets shorter as you focus closer. As for Tokina, aren't they going out with an updated version of 11-16 soon?
  5. I will have to remember this for the next time. Hopefully, the next time won't for a while.
  6. Replaced the faucet in the bathroom sink. It was a lot easier than I expected, but still annoying since the space was pretty darn tight.
  7. Option-clicking on volume icon should do what you're looking to do as well.
  8. Probably a CT scan since there's a sign for "CT PROCEDURE" on the wall to the left.
  9. Damn, you're absolutely correct, I REALLY want that one.
  10. Argh. I hope you are getting paid extra for this.
  11. Cooked vegetable risotto for dinner. I love asparagus season.
  12. Came home to find my daughter all scratched up on side of her head/face from a fall she had while running. I know it looks a lot worse than it actually is, but still breaks my heart to see her all scratched up.
  13. Dinny, keep in mind adding the grip to d7000 will add ~$100 assuming you get a genuine used grip.
  14. I really like RS-Sport 2. The integrated underarm strap helps keep the camera/strap from rotating to front of your body when you need to bend forward and can't hold onto the camera for one reason or another, like picking up a toddler.
