Not a real pedaling bicycle - imagine a bike without pedals you'd push off with your feet and balance as you ride. It really is ridiculous how much and how quickly a toddler picks things up - it wasn't all that long ago when my daughter wasn't making any real sentences, let alone discernible words.
Took my daughter out to ride her balance bike. It was a blast but rather tiring since she is still learnIng to ride the thing so I had to do a lot of pushing and bending over.
Tried to take off the gas line on our grill that some critter had chewed through. I was not successful and in the process, the catch/drip pan disintegrated into numerous pieces from after years of hard use. Argh.
I haven't been to any of mine either, though technically, there hasn't been any to attend. We had ~400 people in my class and I definitely don't remember most of them.
No need for a dose of Benadryl. She went to sleep very nicely. Now here's hoping that I'll actually get a nice night of sleep tonight after not being able to do so for the last three nights for unknown reasons.
Drove home from the in-laws. Both my wife and I are exhausted, but our daughter is running around full of energy. Hopefully, she goes to sleep without much issue.
This.
We've been at my in-laws since Thursday and we had the annual 4th of July picnic today. It was a nice day and was great see our daughter running around and playing with her cousins/uncles/aunts.
Now relaxing a bit and watching the Sox losing to Yankees with my father-in-law who is a Yankees fan.
It's a Reuben variation. Usually substitutes corned beef with pastrami and sauerkraut with cole slaw, though I keep the corned beef if it's made at home.
^ The food truck gathering looks great. We've gone to few of them down in Boston, but they have yet to live up to my expectations.
On topic, been up since 3 AM, thanks to damn allergies. Now I'm going to go make me some coffee.
