First year we did HC Fantasy Football, I made the playoff and made it to the championship game. Since then, it's been a steady downhill and this year is holding up that trend.

We got couple of flickers but that was it. There are areas of outage only couple of blocks/streets away from us so we lucked out. No work or daycare (which is less than a mile away from us) today again.

And they're closing my school (which is also where my wife works) tomorrow as well. At least I don't have to worry about our daughter now as her daycare is most likely closed as well.

Wind has really picked up around here, but otherwise, nothing else has happened. No flickering lights, no broken fallen branches - not that I'm complaining.

Well, at least I don't have to go into work tomorrow as they closed my school.

Starting to rain a bit around here already. Glad I got off my lazy ass and cleaned out my gutters in the morning.

Cleaned my gutters in the morning. Though not exactly the safest thing to do, employing my leaf blower made a quick work of it.

^ I did remember to start him on my team in league 2, though the lovely Vikings D did a wonderful job of negating some of his points. Of course, I completely forgot to replace Jordy Nelson with Mike Williams in league 1 since I just can't get used to there being a Thursday game.

I have 3 RBs listed as "Out" in the league 2. Yay.

Vanilla pudding. I'm going to suffer for it later but, damn, does it hit the spot right now.

The shop did find additional repairs, but they're still not quite enough to get the car totaled so it's getting repaired. Supposedly, it'll be ready either end of this week or early next week. Oh, and it appears that I've managed to lose both my Etys and iPod at some point during the last 2 weeks.

And now MJD is out with injury.

That's a good news, Vicki. Naaman, that sucks, but glad that you're okay.

Drove to my shop to sign a paper so they can actually start looking at my car in earnest and coordinate with the insurance company. Why they couldn't tell me about needing to sign these forms last week is beyond me. Now it probably be another week before they'll figure out if the car will be repaired or totaled.
