^ Nice. I wonder when the improvements on X100S will make it over to their interchangeable-lens cameras - would make for a healthy competition over on mirrorless arena since Sony is still not really trying.

This is good to know since my SB3 is starting to act weird of late for no discernible reason. Though I may just get an AppleTV since my speaker rig is my TV rig.

Same here, though in my case, I use it for contacts, calendar, bookmark, and browser tab syncing, and I've really had no issues with those under iCloud. Now, when it moved to MobileMe, that was rather painful. To be fair, I have a @mac.com account that still exit out in the ether that I can no longer access with any consistency - it's a good thing that it wasn't associated with my iTunes account.

Just got an e-mail from Amazon about their AutoRip thing and noticed that there were few albums that I didn't know I owned.

Spent most of today and yesterday in bed with flu. Still feels crappy but at least OTC meds help - I've been drinking them like water.

As a left-eye dominant being, I wish they made cameras that didn't force me to jam my right hand into my face every time I used it (yes, I know there are rangefinders and NEX-7 with viewfinders to the left side).

Makes me sad that I didn't take advantage of educator discount for Photoshop while they still offered it.

Congrats, Jacob! I found out that one of my debit/credit cards was deactivated for too many attempts with incorrect PIN number. This was interesting to me since this card is tied to an account that I haven't used to make a purchase or take cash out in couple of years (i.e., very little cash in account). For some reason, this fact was lost on the customer service person (even after I repeated explained to her) and that I couldn't have possibly tried to use the card with incorrect PIN number. In any case, I've cancelled the card and the replacement is on its way. I'm just glad this didn't happen with my main account.

Except I'm running an external monitor through Thunderbolt. Though I figure by the time I replace my MBP, there'll be number of affordable Thunderbolt docks/hubs/etc.

^ I'm not looking forward to the day when I get a new Mac to replace my MBP as I have too many FireWire drives, including a mini RAID.

Spent the last couple of days with my wife's side of the family for Christmas and good time was had by all, even though half folks couldn't make it for various reasons. Got home tonight to find out the lens I bought off eBay recently doesn't work. I had received it late last week but didn't get around to trying it till tonight due to work and holiday travels. Now I wish I had checked it earlier.
