  1. ^ Juts got an e-mail from them about it since I already own one of their plug-ins. Great news for those who want the whole thing, not so great for those who recently bought the whole thing or those who just wanted one of the plug-ins.
  2. ^ Your pictures are not exactly helping my wallet here.
  3. Tried mostly in vain to get the calibration matched between my external monitor and MBP screen. It's a lot closer than before but still not close enough. On a somewhat related note, noticed today that the ISO dial on my film camera had been accidentally moved to incorrect film speed. No idea how long this had been the case or how many shots I took with it like that - the lesson is that I'm an idiot and need to get better at figuring out correct exposures myself.
  4. ^ That sucks. I thought it was some problem on my end resulting me not being able to listen tonight.
  5. Traeger was shot down by my better half.
  6. I'd completely forgotten about Traeger - thanks guys. I wonder if she'd go for the pig shaped one (not serious, btw).
  7. Bumping up an ancient thread, but thinking about getting an Egg to replace our gas grill that died late last year. Assuming, of course, that my wife likes it since she'll be grilling just as much, if not more, than me.
  8. Nate, what are you using to stream to PS3? What I had been using (MediaLink) stopped working couple of weeks ago for no apparent reason and I haven't been able to fix it (it doesn't help MediaLink's customer support is nonexistent).
  9. So it looks like its going to be snow all day as opposed to changing into rain (thus, melting snow) early in the day as it was initially predicted. At least there should be slightly less ice on the road this afternoon/tonight.
  10. What Ari said, unless, of course, you were planning on jumping to FF soon. Then again, 50/1.8G on FF would be closer to 35/1.8 on D90/D7100.
  11. The Olive unit is intriguing, but having the main unit that would connect to dac/amp/receiver/etc also be the control unit makes it a no go for me, at least in terms of replacing my flaky, aging SB3. Now, as a separate unit to stick in say a kitchen or bedroom, it looks fantastic.
  12. One of our friends had a waitress help herself to a bigger tip by changing the "1" on the 10th digit on the tip line to a "4." She figure it out couple weeks later while looking at her bank statement and comparing it to the receipt.
  13. Much to my amazement, shoveling this time around was less tiring and less time consuming than the last big one we had. It helped the snow clumped together well, which meant it was heavier but I didn't have to shovel the same damn spot 9 times.
  14. That sucks, Nate. We are not there (working till July) yet and hopefully, won't get there.
  15. Another snow day for me and my district has used up all the snow days they had allotted - not that it matters since the school year will just keep getting extended to cover any additional snow days. Bit annoying in that due date for things don't get pushed back as well.
  16. I've used SuperDuper for few years now with no issues. You should be able to use SuperDuper with your Time Machine backups, though this creates a disk image so you won't be able to look through the files in the backup. Also, iirc, if you go the disk image route, SuperDuper will have to backup the whole thing each time, as opposed to updating only things that changed (which it can do if provided with its own partition/drive).
  17. We're leaving our daughter today with my sister and her boyfriend for few hours to catch few drinks and a play.
