Never knew that app switcher basically functioned as app history. Good to know. Good to hear they gave you a replacement iPad.

Anyone else having problems with Google Map on iPhone? In the past coulpe of weeks, it started randomly rerouting directions when there was no need and has not been able to consistently find correct exists on highways. This is happening on both my wife's 5 and my 4.

I know it's not juvenile, but that town's name cracks me up every time I hear it.

^ Not surprised about closing the apps. I remember taking a look at a coworker's iPhone last year to fix a Wi-fi setting and noticed it had just about every single app that was installed open. So are they replacing your iPad?

Went to a zoo with my daughter for her daycare's field trip. While there, I noticed one of the parents carrying a Canon DSLR (more accurately, I noticed the red ring on her lens) and I couldn't shake off the feeling that I'd seen her before. Turns out it was the photographer we hired for our family photos several months ago. Apparently, she was also trying to figure out where she'd seen me and was wondering if it was at one of the weddings she'd shot recently.

Crappy, you should be able to turn the hood (clockwise, iirc) while extended until it doesn't move and it shouldn't move down.. Don't remember if it worked that way while the hood is retracted.

WTF, Adobe - Adobe Unveils Major Update to Creative Cloud Supposedly, Lightroom will continue as a standalone software, at least through LR5 (in addition to being part of the Creative Cloud nonsense). Makes me wonder if I should start looking for a replacement.

Picked up my daughter after work. She proceeded to tell me about the Rice Krispies Treats she made today at daycare and how she wanted to make more so she can share with me and my wife. So we spent the part of the afternoon making Rice Krispies Treats. It was a good day.

I have an older style 4s and while I really like them, they are so microphonic I wish I and the newer one with twisted cables. No issues with earpiece, though, after I discovered they make small tri-flanges.

Oh, and just found yet another Thunderbolt dock. This one is from CalDigit and has an extra port (HDMI) when compared to the Belkin dock for $100 cheaper, but, predictably, not shipping yet with no specified ETA. http://www.caldigit.com/thunderboltstation
