    jpak - completely off topic, but do you still have your CD3000's? If so, can you bring them to the Boston meet, assuming you can make it? Keep wanting to try them out but keep missing chances on them.

    If I remember correctly from listening to the broadcast, it can read through scratches (to an extent) and even work around a broken piece, provided you still have the broken piece.

    It's a Qualia SACD player. It'll set you back a nice chunk of change if you can find one. EDIT - IIRC, the MSRP was ~$10K.

    Ken, there're couple pics of it on the MD meet impression thread on HF. As it's a prototype, it's not in a case, though. EDIT - Nate beat me to it! Here's hoping I'll get to hear it myself at some point.
