  1. I really couldn't resist as a local shop had it in stock for the first time in a long while. Now, if someone would start making VGA cable for Wii, that would be great (I don't have enough connections left on my TV).
  2. Not really - it's been 'almost done' for a bit now. I really was hoping the amps will be ready by the meet, but I guess I'll just have to setup a mini-meet after they arrive.
  3. Nintendo Wii.
  4. 2 cans of Lo-Carb Monster. I hate coming back to work from a mini vacation.
  5. Thinking of doing the same here. And his HE60's. And your DAC. And jpak's L3000's (hope you're bringing them, jpak). Wow, I actually have more items I want to listen to then the past area meets.
  6. Hmm, Mini3, huh? I've been wanting a portable amp to drive my ER-4S....tempting. EDIT - Is anyone else having problem with superscript/subscript? Every time I try to use superscript/subscript here, it just shows up as a question mark.
  7. If anyone's interested, there's an Audio Aero Capitole on sale on HF. I don't know if it's a good deal or not, though. http://www.head-fi.org/forums/showthread.php?t=256498
  8. Ahh, apartment floors. I don't think I have a single flat section in my apartment where I could place my rack. It's not as bad as my friend's old apartment, though - that house was sinking/shrinking in numerous places you could easily see the tilt in the hallway.
  9. A summer hat.
  10. Grapefruit sorbet.
  11. A pair of shorts.
  12. Happy Birthday and have a great one!
  13. I know Anapod from Red Chair software used to do something like this, but IIRC, it doesn't support ALAC, so it's kinda useless. And thanks, ojnihs! I found what I was looking. Lossless to AAC Workflow
  14. I had forgotten about applescripts, thanks! I'll look through them and see if they have anything.
  15. I have most of my CD's backed-up/ripped in ALAC. While this works well if I want to burn some songs or albums on to CDR, I really don't need to these files to be in ALAC for my iPod. I suppose I could just convert them all to lower bitrate onto another hard drive, but I really don't want to do that (i.e., lazy). Are there any OSX software that would down-convert the music as I put them on my iPod?
  16. Mmmm, Starcraft 2. I have a feeling I'll need a new Mac (to play it) by the time it comes out, though.
  17. Slowly going through the second season of Rescue Me.
  18. I'm hoping a friend of mine will buy it when it comes out so I can play it. Maybe I'll convince him to download the demo.
  19. Mum's the word.
  20. testing, trose, trose
  21. I'll try taking some pics if he shows up at the Boston meet.
  22. Nanoha - you've got it mostly right. "Discovery" in this case is more like, "look what I found!" The word "Aim," for all intents and purposes, can be translated as "intentionally" or "purposefully" in this instance. The last line translates roughly, "I don't think smoke can move like that. LOL." While I speak/read/write Japanese fluently (I sure hope so, since I am Japanese), I'm not exactly the greatest translator.
  23. Which you really should do within the next 12 days so I can hear it.
  24. You know there's a good chance you'll get to see them in person, right?
  25. Precide Ergo series.
