Oh, I plan on it soon. If I'm feeling crazy enough, I may even go there on Black Friday to do it.

Last week, I received a message from the Geek Squad automated messagin/calling system that my iPod has been repaired and it's ready for pickup. Slightly confused, I head over to the Best Buy after work, only to find out that it hasn't really been repaired and that automated messaging system screwed up. I highly doubt I'll see the damn thing before the end of the year.

In that case, I've no idea. All I know is that they did say "think differently" somewhere in their ad text when it run few years back.

Yep. Both the preamp and power amp were on their catalogue for this year, but they weren't released until recently. The retail for preamp and power amp is $1599 and $2399, respectively.

Nixons do look and feel nice when I played around with them (I don't own one). Like Dusty, I'm thinking of getting a Nixon next time around. I'm also a big fan of Hamilton, especially the Khaki series - I own a Field Mechanical Officer and Field Mechanical.

Assuming same person(s) holds meet on regular basis, I think it could work as a safety net for times when a meet has less than expected attendance due to various reasons, like when a certain forum dies week before your meet. Of course, there's nothing preventing someone from just taking the proceed and run, but there's always been fear of that.
