Try checking the aspect setting on your TV and see if that helps.

Are you sure you have all the setting correct? I've never had this problem with HD movies and I have Comcast. All HD programs/On Demand contents, including movies display in full screen for me. And yes, I was a HD widescreen TV.

I like the HD programming as most sports and nature shows look really good in HD. Other than that, it's a bit of mixed bag for me. Many prime time programs are available in HD, and they do look better in most cases, but not the night and day difference I experience with sports and nature shows. For me, it was only $5 difference in service (Comcrap) so it's been definitely worth it. We'll see if things change when I switch over to FiOS TV in the near future.

Folks on the other headphone forum do on regular basis, though not many here do.

Argh, there goes saved PM's and photos. At least I have the originals for most of the photos, but losing all those PM's will be bit painful.

Same here, at least with better quality pics that were posted over on Head-Fi. I still want to see one in person to see how bad/good the new look is, though.

What Nate said. Also, you may want to see if you can try out amps within your budget before committing to anything. It is entirely possible that you just don't like their presentations.

I'm not sure an iPod counts in this case. Yeah, I doubt I can convince her to get herself OII's and BHSE - baby steps, dude, baby step.
