  1. Man, I love that show. I can't wait for the 2nd season to come out on DVD so I can watch it the whole thing. Damn not having Showtime.
  2. Derek and the Dominos - Layla (vinyl)
  3. Happy Birthday!
  4. Nope, you're not the only one, I don't like them at all. It's too bad, too, since I just love the burgundy finish.
  5. At least your handle is still the same.
  6. IIRC, Exemplar 3910 without balanced outputs usually go in Audiogon for around $2000 to $2500, depending on mods. I've read on, I think A'gon forum, that there are further mods involved with adding balanced outputs, but I have no first hand knowledge on that.
  7. They still have the iPod hi-fi? I thought they discontinued that a while ago. Wait, you went out to Apple Store on Black Friday? Yuck.
  8. Eww. If I get them and like them, I'll make sure to take some pics if they do turn gross green.
  9. http://www.head-case.org/index.php/topic,834.msg73493.html#msg73493
  10. Without SPL meter, I don't know the exact dB level, but my listening level is rather low.
  11. I bet it's fish tacos!
  12. LOL. Priceless.
  13. The pair at NYC and Chicago meet has Neutrik XLR jack (5 pin, I think). According to the maker, they now sport Stax jack.
  14. I've never had any fit issue with the standard tri-flanges, but it would be nice if the blue ones work as well (or better) and don't turn yellow.
  15. So I went over to HeadRoom site to look for few things, and I can across blue Ety ER4 tips - http://www.headphone.com/products/accessories/headphone-replacement-parts/etymotic-er-4-small-blue-rubber-tips.php I may end up ordering them when I call them on Monday to order couple of things, but has anyone here tried them yet?
  16. I actually no idea that HeadRoom is carrying the pads - thanks for the info!
  17. I know I'm digging up an old thread, but was wondering if anyone here had the part number for K271 velour pads? I thought I had it saved somewhere, then realized that it was saved in a PM over on Head-Fi.
  18. Or maybe you have been corrupted by the evils of AT cans.
  19. So I see "deepak" has posted in this thread from the forum overview, and I think, there's another Deepak in the forum? Only to realize that, there's still only one true Deepak here. There can be only one. LOL
  20. So anyone wanna take one for the team and buy one? For that matter, anyone know anything about their other products?
  21. Try checking the aspect setting on your TV and see if that helps.
  22. Are you sure you have all the setting correct? I've never had this problem with HD movies and I have Comcast. All HD programs/On Demand contents, including movies display in full screen for me. And yes, I was a HD widescreen TV.
  23. I like the HD programming as most sports and nature shows look really good in HD. Other than that, it's a bit of mixed bag for me. Many prime time programs are available in HD, and they do look better in most cases, but not the night and day difference I experience with sports and nature shows. For me, it was only $5 difference in service (Comcrap) so it's been definitely worth it. We'll see if things change when I switch over to FiOS TV in the near future.
