  1. Nice, Nate. Have you modified your SB3 at all?
  2. Dew Eeet On the related note, I agree with Nate, stock 225s were merely meh. HF-1's are vast improvement over them, IMO.
  3. For some reason, most of my friends don't care for them, not sure why, though my best friend does like them.
  4. Started listening to Crooked Little Vein by Warren Ellis.
  5. Congrats on your new pair, Ryan. They sure do look nice. It pains me every time I see pics of vintage RS-1, though, knowing I've let few opportunities slip by me to obtain them (for very good prices) over the last three years.
  6. Holy shit, Pitt just won. Sorry, Reks, Ohio State's going back to the championship.
  7. And they turn it over on downs. WVU really hasn't looked good this game. OU is back up again.
  8. Oh right, I forgot you have a first gen Nano.
  9. I'm pretty sure that is a NanoShield, though it looks like an older version.
  10. And Pitt just recovered a fumble. I'm sure folks are cheering down in Columbus.
  11. You're welcome. One of these days, I hope to make it a Florida meet and now I have an additional reason. I can't make the CanJam as I'll most likely be in Washington for a vacation with gf.
  12. Of course, it is entirely possible that it's just me who is utterly incompetent with installing these skins.
  13. I've tried BSE and couple of other skins, but they were all nearly impossible to apply cleanly without air pockets/bubbles forming. Also, you need a really dust-free environment (which I don't have since I have forced-air heating system) or they'll all show up on the skin as you install them. For me, it was not worth all the hassles and efforts. I'll always take the ease of physical case, and deal with the added bulk.
  14. Not a huge fan of BSE skins as they can be a huge pain in the ass to install.
  15. I'm personally a fan of Agent18 cases for iPod. They're made of clear polycarbonate and more sleeker than other cases.
  16. Good to hear it was just the cable, Dan! Let us know how you like them (or not), boomana. Oh, and I just got an Agent 18 case for my new iPod.
  17. Considering my usage pattern and priorities, it would be - iPod 80gb ($240 new) Ety ER4 ($200 new) Assuming one gets both or at least Ety used, one should be able to add Rockhopper Mini3 and stay at or under $500.
  18. I was thinking about calling the Best Buy about the iPod when I got a message on my cell that it was ready to be picked up. So I trot myself over to the store, and I'd somehow managed to qualify for what they call the "junk order." Long story short, I now have a brand new 80gb iPod classic. The Geeksquad guy that was helping me was amazed, telling me that it was the first service request that qualified for either "junk order" or their lemon policy at this particular store in at least the last three months.
  19. I received mine today and been trying them out for about half an hour now. My experience thus far mirrors that of boomana's. Though I've never had any real comfort issues with the regular tri-flanges, comparatively, the blue ones are much more comfortable and they provide just as good seal. Also, they're soooo much easier to insert than the regular tri-flanges. Later, I'm going to try out the K271 velours pads that also came in today.
  20. You're welcome. I'm looking forward to trying them - I should have mine today or tomorrow.
  21. I'm really looking forward to setting it up on my network. In the end, my laziness prevailed and SB3 became the choice over Airport Express.
