So while lying on my bed, I hear a mention of "musicdirec.com" from a TV. I turn around and there it is - musicdirect.com/American Express ad. I think it was the first time I've ever heard the word "audiophile" mentioned in a TV ad. Anyone else catch this?

Well, I just went through my insurance benefits, and it appears that I won't have to pay for anything (ambulance, inpatient, etc.). Woohoo for pricey monthly plan!

Yeah, motion sickness induced vomiting was just the icing on the cake. Lucky for me, I had my girlfriend call the ambulance, and before I knew it, there were several firefighters in my apartment ready to take me away. I really should stop using the computer since it doesn't really help with the spinning, but I can't listen to my headphones since wearing them bothers my head, which worsens the condition. Grrrr.

Mine was a lovely constant spinning. At its worst, the feeling of motion was so strong that it was giving me motion sickness even though I was lying down perfectly still on my bed with my eyes closed.

Well, if you haven't it sucks. I spent the last day and half in a hospital due to a severe case of it. I got discharged today and it is a whole lot better but not 100% yet. At least the scans of my brain showed nothing unusual, so they think it's just something viral.

Good point - at least the panel for the power supply is real easy to take off as there's really nothing attached to it.

Cool. I guess I'll go play around with their software. Of course, I'd still have to take off the current front panel from the beta22, which I hope won't be too hard.

Digging up an old thread, but how is frontpanelexpress' turnaround time (and cost) for faceplate? I'm thinking of getting one made for my beta22 (and for its PS), assuming I can figure out their design software and other details out.

Yep. I was very annoyed when the release was delayed. Couple more weeks, couple more weeks.

Move to NH may actually be happening, depending on house hunting and job situations.

That requires getting naturalized first, though that is in the plans for the near future. Of course, my lovely state isn't exactly the easiest state to get a firearms license.

So I was looking at some Magnepans and my gf shot them down saying they look funny. LOL. Magnepans probably wouldn't do so well with cats either (don't have them now, but will again soon enough). She really likes how the Strata Mini looks and told me that I should buy them, fully aware of my budget. I had to explain to her that I need to budget for an amp since I only have a wimpy TEAC digital amp now.

Ah, I see. I guess I'm lucky right now where both UPS and FedEx distribution centers are within 10 minute drive of my apartment.
