  1. Thanks for the suggestion, Reks.
  2. One of my favorite place to eat locally is a nice Italian place called Tomasso. Their food is excellent and the price, while not cheap by any means, is still better than most Italian establishments in the North End. Their menu changes seasonally and they make their desserts in house (their gelato and sorbet varieties changes depending on season and what ingredients they have available). For those who like wines, they have a massive wine list, including multiple pages of wines that you can order by glass or carafe.

    dvorak

My old iBook was setup in Dvorak for a while. I ended up switching back to QWERTY since typing with Dvorak at home and with QWERTY at work messed with my typing efficiency with both keyboard setup.
  4. A tank of gas. It was $3.79/gallon this morning when I drove past the station. The price had gone up 10
  5. Thanks for the update. I'll keep that in mind when we meet with the floor guys for estimates.
  6. I'm still tempted to get a Duet, even though I don't know what I'd do with it. It's not like I need a second source.
  7. Yep, we washed the walls first and used tinted primer as well. This is actually the only room that has required more than two coats, too. This is why we're getting the floors refinished before we move into the house - much easier to clean and doesn't have to worry about any furnitures.
  8. More friggin' cans of paint because one of the rooms need another coat (4th coat now, I think). Stupid dark orange paint. Oh, and it's not "bought" yet, but most likely paying for hardwood floor refinishing. Ahhh, joys of home ownership (bye, bye, money).
  9. Some more paint related supplies. Almost done with painting (for now).
  10. We were trying real hard to figure that out, but just couldn't come up with a good color combination that would work well. Neither of us would make a good interior decorator. Where's Ian when I need him? LOL
  11. Let's see - some green, off white/natural, light gray, another off-white, and dark orange (though not too dark).
  12. Yep. The closing was painless and lasted only about an hour. We spent part of the day trying to choose what colors to paint the rooms using bunch of test paints we had bought earlier. Then spent rest of the day prepping the house for paint and putting first coat of pain on the ceiling.
  13. Floor lamps, additional paint supplies, and some grocery. Oh, and a 3br ranch.
  14. Also, from what I can gather, the more more expensive of the two Cambridge Audio docks (iD100) is supposed to cost ~$200 if/when it's released. At that price, I'd just look for a used Squeezebox.
  15. There may not be much info out there since it may very well that they haven't been released yet. Cambridge Audio have had their 840 series power amp and preamp on their 2007 or 08 catalogue, even though they weren't released until just recently.
  16. I wish there was someone in the area who had 4070 so I can try them out. I know what to expect from OII (at least the original model), but it may very well that I'd like 4070 just as much. Stupid rare headphones.
  17. Damn - I had forgotten about those. I wish I had the money to buy both OII and 4070...
