  1. I didn't realize they came in different finishes. The dark wood finish (see the 1st post in the thread) looks a lot nicer than the black finish, though, IMO.
  2. Not really an option as it's a vintage amp. Here's a pic of mulveling's MC2100 - http://www.head-case.org/off-topic/the-perennial-favorite-post-a-pic-of-your-rig/msg102821/#msg102821
  3. Anyone here know cheap speaker cables with small/skinny spade plugs? My McIntosh 2100 has tiny speaker taps (there's a pic of it around here somewhere) and most spades won't come close to fitting, unfortunately.
  4. Airport Extreme base station and decent 20-piece silverware set from Williams & Sonoma.
  5. Yeah, I hit a reload while reading a thread and couldn't figure out what was going on with the sudden changes.
  6. Some cone/spike grouding base from Herbie's Audio.
  7. leftover mac and cheese from last night.
  8. Nice. I love that aside from the general wear and tear, I have had no issues what-so-ever with my Civic (~96K miles over 6.5 years). On top of that, I regularly get 40 miles/gallon (rated at 32 city/37 highway), with occasional high 40s.
  9. A new trash can for the kitchen, a footlocker w/ wheels, and one-year membership to Angie's List. EDIT - Oh and a tank of gas @ $3.89/gallon. I love my Civic.
  10. Groceries and reservation for a moving truck.
  11. http://www.containerstore.com/browse/Product.jhtml?searchId=14256858&itemIndex=47&CATID=13394&PRODID=10020475
  12. Yeah, I actually had to look up breeze block in wikipedia since I'd never heard that before.
  13. That's a funny name for cinder blocks.
  14. Where did you see them? I looked around quickly at local Home Depot/Lowes but couldn't find them.
  15. Congrats on the new rig, Todd! I wish I was getting O2 myself as it had originally been planned, but decided it was better to put the fund toward more home improvements.
  16. Man, sorry to it Smeggy. For me, nothing beats Benadryl for getting rid of the allergy induced rash/bumps, even if the drug generally knocks me out for couple of hours. I like other allergy drugs (e.g., Zyrtec) for other symptoms, though.
  17. Not really bought since they were bought for us, but my future father-in-law got us a lawnmower and a trimmer, along with fuel containers for them.
  18. Got 6 over here on my new house. I guess this is what happens when your house abuts town/state forest and is at the end of a very quiet and peaceful cul-de-sac. EDIT - My apartment (which is where I'm still at since I haven't finished moving into the house yet) got 72. I didn't know that there are 7 Starbucks or Dunkin Donuts within 1.8 miles of the place.
  19. Almost forgot, we bought a new fridge as well. It's getting delivered tomorrow.
  20. Bunch of outlets, outlet covers, switches, switch covers, GFCI outlets, and 2 door knobs with deadbolt.
  21. I was waiting for someone to make a post like that.
  22. Damn, that's pretty fast. Glad to hear it worked out quickly for you.
  23. About 20 miles west of Boston for now, soon to be about 20 miles north of Boston.
