Have you seen the mini-series (30 Days) on FEARnet?
-
I haven't watched it yet. I liked the graphic novel on which it's based, though.

30 Days of Night DVD and a bottle of Chardonnay for cooking later.

That's the one I have. I got the number mixed up on my previous post and didn't realize that until now.

I like my Zerosurge unit, which is basically an OEM version of Brick wall (with some minor difference, IIRC). It does have a switch, but for only two of the outlets.
-
Man, that looks so nice. I miss having tube gears.
-
Argh. Not even close to being enough for my purpose. I guess the search continues.

Belated congrats, DigiPete!

I had to stop carrying it in my back pocket since it was making my butt (and back of my thigh) numb.

Tux rental for my friend's wedding.

Yes, and the Sony Insider report just about covers all the pertinent information that I can find on the Japanese Sony page.

Went out for a nice dinner for my fiancee's birthday. Now, we're both entirely too full.

Happy Birthday!

Made reservation at a nice restaurant for my fiancee's birthday. Stayed late at work to get some work done on one of my students' upcoming IEP meeting.

I remember Justin telling me the same thing (i.e., more cost) when I asked him about converting one to 230v when I was trying to sell my Balanced Reference (and had few folks from Europe ask me about it). EDIT - FWIW, I remember preferring GS-X over my Balanced Reference a wee bit. My Balanced Reference didn't have quite the same spec (it was a single chassis model with BG caps, upgraded silver wiring, and 41-step SA's) as the one you're looking at, but it's pretty close. Of course, please take this with a whole pound of salt as it's been ages since I've owned either amps.

Well, you and I could be the lazy owners who forget to take out players who are on the bye week.

1000w/ch? Jeebus. And here I am feeding my Eminent Techs with measly ~115w/ch. Maybe I'll find myself another 2100 so I can use them in a mono mode.

Belated Happy Birthday, dude!
-
I'd be interested, though I must admit that it's been ages since I've looked into it.

Man, pics like this makes me miss my Balanced Reference (and its 41-step SA's). I wonder who has that amp now...

Happy Birthday!

does any body know these Stax amps?
Salt Peanuts replied to moray james's topic in Headphone Amplification
SRM-252 Mk2 and SRM-252A are same amps, just a different naming for different market. SRM-001 is their portable amp. I don't know how the circuit design on SRM-001 and SRM-252 Mk2/A differs, but I'm sure resident Stax experts here can comment on that. -
Went out for lunch with my sister then brought home a table and small fridge from her apartment.
