Went to work, then near the end of the day, told my staff/teachers of my upcoming promotion (i.e., will no longer be their direct supervisor).

I'm a transplanted Japanese so I can read Japanese. Mother was one of my favorite game when I was a wee little kid in Japan. I'm kicking myself for not picking up a copy of Mother 3 when it was still readily available. Now none of the import companies I use have it in stock so I may just have to bite the bullet and get one off fleeBay.

Mother 1+2 for GBA out of nostalgia.

We contacted/e-mailed some places so we can start planning for our wedding in earnest.

Thanks for the help - converting it first to aiff worked like a charm. I can't believe I didn't think of that.

So I had ripped Abbey Road into FLAC files a while back and converted them (via Max) recently to ALAC so I can use them with my iPod. For some odd reason, I can't play one of the tracks (Something) nor can I add it to the iTunes library. Rest of the album works just fine and the track in question plays just fine in FLAC format on Cog. Anyone have any idea why this is happening? It's not that big of a deal but I really don't feel like tracking down my CD in the abbys that is my closet.

Perhaps, but Duet also works as an ADC.

Man, one of these days, we've gotta have another mini-meet. Of course, I've got nothing to contribute except for a Duet.

Stayed late at work, though I still didn't get everything I wanted to get done. Then came home to find that new memory I ordered for MacBook had already arrived. Now my MacBook is running much better.

Didn't realize that was even an option.

What's the ETA? I've always wanted to try it out (Promitheus TVC) but I want remote with my preamp.

Thankfully, I never buy memory from Apple. Yeah, my iMac definitely did better after maxing out its memory.

Memory for MacBook. Hopefully, Mac laptops will be using same type of memory when I replace my MacBook, but I somehow doubt that.

And I just got a Duet, too. Maybe I'll just get one (Pico DAC) when it goes in production to do a three-way comp with 840c and Duet.

Todd, does your cat/kitten ever try to use your cylinder sub as a scratching post?
