Updating my touch now so I'll check to see if the ALAC issue has actually been resolved. The update is taking its sweet time, though.

Woke up only to find out that my car won't start. Thinking it's just the weather (been wee bit cold of late), waited until I got home from work (got a ride from fiancee) but still no go. Argh.

I'm more surprised that it took this long for something like to this to come out.

Putting a reflex dot helped out a bunch, though still not quite there yet for my liking. I may try something bigger the next time (I used 1.9cm round sticker). It may also be the result of driving them out of Duet's headphone out. No dedicated headphone amp right now.

Just finished doing some mods on my T50RP. The overall muddiness to the sound I found initially is now gone and everything is much tighter across the board. I'm really liking the result so far. It's not quite as sparkly up top as I'd like, but I'm nitpicking. Now time to eat dinner.

Just received my T50RP. I don't know how many hours they had on them, but they sound decent out of Duet's headphone out. Tomorrow, I'm off to a fabric store so I can perform some mods.

Left work early due to the flu that just refuses to go away - probably would've helped the matter had I listened to folks and stayed home on Tuesday or Wednesday. In any case, I'm now going to take a shot of NyQuil and going to sleep until much later than now.
