Glad I stuck with Lightroom. What Gene said and the prices I've seen on D800/E have come down a bit compared to a week ago. -
Happy Birthday!

While I've always meant to get naturalized, the part of reason I finally did it (aside from now I'm married with a child along withe second one on the way) was economic and timing. My green card is expiring relatively soon. The current cost of naturalization processing is $680. The current cost of renewing a green card is $450. I had no desire to pay $450 sometime next year just to delay paying $680 (or more) for the naturalization process, especially since I'd already done that once before when realized my green card was expiring too late to apply for naturalization previously. Of course, had I done this back in 1998, when I first became eligible for naturalization, it would've only cost me $250.

Thanks, guys. The processing time difference between some offices are astonishing. Had I been processed through the Boston office, as opposed to the (relatively) new office they built few years ago in Lawrence, I probably would still be waiting for my interview notice as well. IIRC, at the time I submitted my application, the Boston office's average processing time for N400 was bit over 7 months.

It went just fine and they've recommended my naturalization application for approval. Now I just have to wait for a letter to tell me when/where to go for my Oath of Allegiance. Hopefully, it's not on/around my son's due date. The whole process has been much quicker than I'd anticipated. It probably helps that I didn't have to go to the Boston office - they'd built another USCIS office right near me few years ago to ease the burden on the Boston office.

Went for my naturalization interview/testing. After that, made a strawberry banana bread with strawberries we picked on Tuesday.

I like the Clutch as well. Used to have a hand strap and I miss it. I'm sure I'm just being paranoid, but carrying around a camera suspended/supported from its tripod socket, possibly bouncing around on your hip, still worries me about the possibilities of damage/bowing of the bottom plate. Which is why whenever I used a BalckRapid strap, I had my hand supporting the camera at all the times (well, almost all the time). It's interesting to note that Nikon now sells Nikon branded BlackRapid strap - I'm willing to bet they won't pay for a repair if the strap causes damage to tripod socket/bottom plate. With all that said, I still don't like using straps. -
Damn. RIP.

At that price, it's rather tempting as I've been looking for a pair of decent open cans that are comfy.

Sorry for your losses, Al.

I think the solution is to buy an iMac now then get a Mac Pro after the move. Edit - stupid fat fingers posting before I'm done.

Took our daughter to a Field Day even at a local farm for picnic. They had bunch of different things for kids - pony ride, ice cream, local soda/juice, flower planting (to take home), etc. Much to our surprise, everything was free.

FWIW, the video card is a mid-range laptop video card that was introduced over 2 years ago. -

There doesn't seem to be one, aside from that the DSLR you trade would probably need to be actually working. Also, the supply is technically limited, so if you want to make sure you get one, you'd probably need to spend most of your day waiting in line in Times Square. -

Samsung Giving Away NX30s in NYC Almost wish I had an ancient DSLR lying around somewhere. I do have ancient Canon P&S cameras still sitting around for Canon Loyalty Program, though. -
I love mechanical keyboards and I wish I still had one. I can't use them in the house since they are so fucking loud and would wake up everyone else in the house. I may have to get another one so I can use it at work, though.
