  1. It's $699 for 32gb and $599 for 16gb without 2-year contract.
  2. This was the case with 3GS (and I assume previous ones). Touch goes up to 64gb since they've got not phone parts in them, despite it being thinner than 3GS.
  3. Frick, I'm tempted enough that I'm trying to figure out how the pre-ordering would work for folks who are not currently with AT&T while keeping the numbers.
  4. A new filter for our whole-house air cleaner. I was pleasantly surprised to find it a lot cheaper than I'd expected.
  5. Or retirement(s) of Michael Jordan.
  6. Installed larger one of the two window AC units we own - it hasn't been too bad temperature wise, but it's been so friggin' humid. It's a day/week like this we wonder why we didn't install central air (then we remember that we use AC for less than 10 days a year).
  7. Yeah, it was rather disconcerting to see the hood discolor and bubble up.
  8. Spent the first half of the day taking it easy with wife and the baby (well, as much as one can take it easy while taking care of a newborn). When I left for a grocery store in the afternoon, it got interesting. About a mile away from home, my check engine light came on then the hood started smoking. I pull over and turn off the engine and by this time, a melon sized ball/bubble had formed on the hood right above the engine while smoked had intensified. Neighbors and a passerby came out to help and after smoked had died down mostly, we open the hood to find smoldering piles of what looked to be like nests. It appears that in the few days I hadn't driven the car, some small animal had decided to move in under my hood. Fire department eventually came and proceeded to spray my car with water to make sure nothing was still on fire. The car was then towed to a town yard as it is now considered a "car fire" and I'll be calling my insurance company tomorrow to file a claim/figure out what's going to happen next.
  9. Homemade burgers. Damn, how I've missed burgers made on a grill.
  10. x2, especially for something I'm using in my portable setup. Also, assuming the pics on HF are close to final product, the casing is atrocious, IMO, for something that costs so much.
  11. Also remember never to turn off the automatic renewal option.
  12. I'm sure this isn't a welcome news to my friend who owns the original iPhone and was fully planning on upgrading to 4G when it comes out. Like Nate, this news also makes me less likely to jump the ship to get new iPhone from AT&T.
  13. That and she likes her steak medium rare and they suggest you don't eat meat that isn't cooked thoroughly.
  14. Two pieces of dry aged rib eye steak. This was the first real meal wife wanted after the birth since she hadn't been able to eat it for the past 9 months.
  15. The case is a small translucent Otterbox case labeled with their logo (http://www.otterbox.com/waterproof-cases/otterbox-1000/). If I'm not mistaken, you can get a carbon fiber case for extra cost.
  16. I really do wish Photoshop was cheaper as I've always wanted to learn to use it but just can't justify the cost.
  17. Nice! Glad to hear the AppleCare worked for you. As for photoshop, because it's not my money, I suggest upgrading to CS5.
  18. Trying to get some things done at work, but I'm entirely too distracted to be productive or efficient.
  19. Same here, though it's also one of those albums I keep forgetting I have it.
  20. John Coltrane and Johnny Hartman - John Coltrane and Johnny Hartman
