Yeah, that's we're thinking. Our goal is to find something that is economical and safe with good MPG rating - the car will be for my wife (and I'll take her current car) since her commute is a lot longer than mine. Now we just need to finalize the budget after I get home today.

Yet again had to talk to my car insurance company regarding the fire damage on my car. Much to my surprise, it has been ruled in my favor so I'll be getting some money for my car (which has been declared a total loss). Now, we get to start looking for economical options for a new car.

^ From what I have been told, NR in LR3 and CS5 is supposed to be the same thing. In any case, I'm liking what NR in LR3 has been able to do noise in high ISO pics as well.

The first day back at work after my paternity leave. I already want to go home.

What happened?

Drove 5 hours to my folks place for my little brother's high school graduation party and the graduation tomorrow. Wasn't too keen on leaving wife and 2 weeks old daughter at home, but the fact my mother-in-law is staying with them gives me some peace of mind. Now I'm trying to get some rest so I can do the 5 hour drive again tomorrow night after the graduation.

It's Arbella. Unfortunately (or fortunately), it wasn't an accident, but fire damage. Basically, I hadn't driven my car for about a week and during that period, some small animal(s) had made nests in the nooks and crannies under the hood. When I did finally drive it late last week, those nests under the hood caught on fire, causing the fire damage (nests were discovered after the fact, obviously, in smoking and smoldering state). Now the claims agent/appraiser is trying to claim the fire was caused by mechanical failure (which would mean that they don't have to pay me anything). My mechanic is trying to call them on it since the failure agent/appraiser is trying to push through, even if it were the case, wouldn't have caused the fire.

Not just today, but been talking to my car insurance company for more than I'd like care to for the past week. Long story short, the insurance company is trying to BS me while my mechanic is trying to call them on their BS.

Put in a deposit for getting a picture framed.
