  1. Probably should hold off, considering how much real reading I'm doing now-a-days - it's "I want one, just because" more than anything else. The wife, OTOH, could use that, but she wants nothing to do with it.
  2. If you're using a Mac, in your iTunes folder on your hard drive, there should be a folder that says something like mobile apps or whatnot. Assuming you didn't delete the apps off your hard drive, all the apps you've purchased through that computer, along with the transferred one, should be there. Back on iTunes, go to "Add to Library" and direct to that particular folder and you should see them back on your computer. I imagine the procedure will be similar on a Windows machine, but I don't use one at home, so I don't know for certain. EDIT - It should work similarly for other things from iTunes (songs, TV shows, etc.), you'd just need to find the appropriate folder(s).
  3. Right-click on iPad icon on iTunes (or the left side bar) and it should give you an option to copy the apps to iTunes or copy all purchased items (or something along that line). That should copy all your apps (and other things you've bought from iTunes, App store, iBook store) on to your computer. Once they're copied and you see all the apps listed under the apps tab on iPad, you can click on "sync apps" and shouldn't erase any of your apps.
  4. Few others I've posted over on that thread. I've got others, but I don't remember off top of my head. Buena Vista Social Club - Buena Vista Social Club Buena Vista Social Club - At Carnegie Hall Afro-Cuban All Stars - Distinto, Diferente Ry Cooder and Manuel Galb
  5. I don't envy you guys or any DIY folks who get inundated with request for builds (and I'm guilty of asking Nate for things over the years). I think Stephen's (thrice) current procedure of selling the amps as they're built (and not take custom orders) is a good one for folks with real day jobs.
  6. Seiko 5 with black dial at 1saleaday.com today. I may grab one since I need a cheap dress watch. Watch Daily Deal, Watch Deal a Day Site
  7. I missed this yesterday. I hope your hand is feeling better, Knuckles.
  8. Damn, that sounds awesome, minus the blueberries.
  9. Sorry to hear about your ankle, Vicki. Due to cluelessness that is UMass admin, I had to take the first half/course of calculus during my last semester there, 3 years after taking the second half/course of calculus during my first semester there.
  10. Well, since I don't particularly like wasabi (yes, I'm a bad Japanese), I'll be avoiding that flavor.
  11. Mike - have you used the bumper on your Zagg shielded iPhone(s) yet? If so, does the bumper push up on the edges of the front/back shield? I've got Wrapsol shields on mine and the bumper has pushed up on the edges, making them peel there (thankfully, I've got replacement from Wrapsol coming since mine was from the bad batch they had couple weeks back).
  12. Are those the dynamic Stax cans? I've only seen the pics and they look rather uncomfortable.
  13. Anyone know where I can get the plug extension, short of getting a case from Switcheasy (assuming they still include the extension)? It appears that most, if not all, of iPhone cases won't have big enough headphone jack opening to use with JH13.
  14. Surprised to see there's still a cable maker that sells replacement headphone cable that doesn't cost at least 80% of the cost of the said headphone.
  15. Must be why I couldn't downgrade my touch to 3.1.3. However, I was able to downgrade it to 3.1.2, which doesn't make sense since Apple has long since stopped signing 3.1.2 firmware (supposedly).
  16. Make sure you have a copy of backup made with 3.1.3 or backup of all the pertinent information (contacts, calendar, etc.) elsewhere as I believe you can't restore the information from backups made under 4.0 once you downgrade back to previous version of OS.
