I count myself lucky that I've never really had issues updating my iPods/iPhone over the years. Of course, now I said that, watch my iPhone explode during the next OS/firmware update.

That iOS4 is slow as hell on both iPhone 3G and 2nd gen touch, with not enough benefits to outweigh the performance hit? And also there's no easy way to downgrade back to previous firmware/OS, and even if you manage to do so, you probably killed off all contents in the process.

Installed the update on my iPhone 4 yesterday. No issues so far. I did notice the signal bars now display only 4 bars in my basement, before it always displayed 5 bars. I left my 2nd gen Touch alone, though. I doubt I'll ever update the OS on it until Apple comes out with a new version of OS that runs as well as 3.X.X.

I miss how much I used to enjoy The Simpsons.
