Here's a quick pic of mine. Nowhere near as bad as I expected and surprised to find no cat toys.

I managed to get the CF card out of the water fairly quickly so there weren't too much water/moisture. I wiped it off and dried it off using some rice, TP, and window fan. Since I'm impatient (and I've got spare card readers), after short while in a pile of rice, I stuck the card into the card reader and managed to get all the images out. Now it's back in a pile of rice though I doubt I'll be using it again since I'm paranoid it'll flake out in middle of taking pictures.

Just dropped a picture full of 8gb CF card into a glass of water. Predictably, the picture's hadn't been downloaded into a computer yet.

Sorry to hear that, Billy. We've had few flooding earlier this year, where it seriously threatened our furnace and water heater. Good luck with cleaning.

Got few new shirts. I hate buying clothes.

Looking at new clothes for our daughter. Clothes we have that fit her are not season/weather appropriate. I must note there are entirely too much pink in girl's clothing items.

Then there was Zima Gold, god that stuff was awful.

On a related note, Apple had already refunded me for the bumper case I bought prior to the last Friday's press conference. I didn't realize that I didn't need to do anything for it (I bought mine at an Apple store with a credit card).

^ Argh, that sounds annoying. I guess I should've held off on buying mine, though I've no idea when they're shipping mine.

That's pretty bad, Jacob. Mine's pretty bad disparity wise, but I at least get 1Mb/s on upload for the most part - which is just about what I'm getting from 3G on my iphone.

But now you can use it as a bludgeoning weapon. I have one coming my way and hopefully, I'll like it better.

Nate - glad to hear the paperwork was processed in timely manner. I remember it was weird for me as well when I left my previous work after working there for 6 years, though probably not quite as much as your situation since all parties involved knew I was leaving for the last 3 months of my contract. I felt bad for the guy that replaced me as he barely got any training before they just threw him in, despite the fact they knew for 3 months I was leaving.

Obviously, I meant to type "pans" not "pants."

All-Clads are nice. Eventually, we'll replace our pants and pots with them.
