I'm curious - does anyone actually use spotlight on their iPhone/touch? I've yet to encounter a situation in which I needed to use it.

FWIW, I voted for after 3rd preseason game mostly so that'll give us a week and half if need be before the season starts. As for preference for the draft date, I'm not available on Thursday nights but other weekday evenings(~8.30 pm onward on Wednesday) as well as weekend should work fine for me, assuming I've ample notice.

Jeff, for the returning people, do you need us to drop our old payers before the draft?

It appears my work as upgraded the service a bit. I suspect it'll still be back to crawling speed from 11-1 when various folks are taking their lunch breaks.

Got home and had to do some troubleshooting with the FiOS install that was done today at home. The big issue was that the tech setup a secure wireless network (FiOS modem doubles as a wireless router), connected my wife's laptop but neglected to tell my wife the password for the network (or how to access the modem/router). It wasn't too hard to fix, but still annoying. I also now have an Airport Extreme that isn't doing anything since I can't use it with FiOS (well, not without calling Verizon and have them change the setting on my ONT).

Ah, I know the spot. I must say I don't ever remember University Drive looking so pretty, but I didn't frequent the town/school in middle of the summer.

I wouldn't lose hope. FiOS came to my town (and couple other surrounding towns) even though Comcast, for all intents and purposes, was the only game in town. Of course, it did take them year and half to actually start offering services after signing contract with the town(s).

I keep forgetting there are some wal-marts that sell groceries.

I probably will since my cats accidentally knocked my Logitech Trackman off the laptop table, popping out the trackball and I can't find the damn thing now.

We used to have FiOS before we moved to our current place and the service/performance was great. I was really happy when I found out I can get FiOS again - I'm hoping my experience with it this time will mirror my past experience with them. It doesn't hurt that we'll be getting a lot more TV channels (not that we watch all that much TV) than we were with Comcast for same cost (cheaper during the promotion period).

Started the day at work off with few annoying correspondences waiting for me. I can tell it's going to be a great day/rest of the week.

I should be getting FiOS installed at home today - hopefully, everything goes without a hitch so my wife, who is at home today, doesn't have to call me so I can troubleshoot over the phone. I'll be taking a small hit on the download speed compared to Comcast at its best, but upload should be a ton better. Also I'm hoping the overall service/performance will be more consistent than Comcast, not that that'll be all that difficult to achieve.

I can't believe I didn't know this. I think I didn't bother checking since I was so used to doing the Ctl-Clicking.

I was thinking about my MacBook's trackpad, which doesn't allow for secondary/right click without using the keyboard.
