Yep. Though bit different than typically known Kansai-ben since I'm from the eastern region of Kansai.

Personally, I prefer "aho" but it's a regional thing.

For my use, I've got no problem with 35mm f/2's performance (though a quiet USM focusing would be a plus). As for age, they're all old - the last non-macro or non-L prime was released in '95. It still won't be cheap enough, methinks (probably in $400 and up range). -
There are bees that make nests underground, or in this case, holes in the lawn. IIRC, bumbles bees are one of those bees.

Nice dragonfly shot, Jeff. I've been meaning to take pics of them myself since our yard appears to be overrun by them, though they're never around when I go out. BTW, what lens and what plant is that on the last pic? -
I can't even find a place that sells Oogie around here. The closest place that may have one is 45 minutes away.

I'm not buying a new lens anytime soon, except perhaps a nifty fifty. Unless, of course, the rumored new 35mm actually comes out and is head and shoulders better than the 35mm f/2 (and keep the same cost or be cheaper, like the Nikon 35mm f/1.. -

I've only used the lens for a day so far, but I like it. It's so much wider than anything else I've used it'll take me a while to use it well. I'm hoping I'll get to use it a lot at the Acadia National Park when I visit my folks up there this weekend.

Yeah, 35mm on Canon crop sensor works out to 56mm. I've got a Canon 35mm f/2 and I really like the lens - but f/1.4 would be great (I just don't have $1400 for 35mm L lens). -

Nothing wrong with 50mm f/1.4, methinks. I wish I had one (to be precise, something equivalent for a crop sensor). I really like the subway shot. -
Really cute, Naaman! Just wait till she has a projectile poop (or two)! We've had to wash the curtains in the nursery already.

EF-S 10-22mm f/3.5-4.5 It's going to take me a while before I can use this lens well (not that I can use my other lenses all that well). -

Had fun playing with a new lens at a picnic today. -
That would be annoying, especially since the reason I bought those center pinch caps were for ease of use while having using the lens hoods. Hopefully, they'll be fine since they are all supposed to be Nikon center pinchers without Nikon logo.

I've had no issues using my JH13 while wearing my glasses. In fact, I like it better with glasses since the stems of my glasses keep the cable in place better. YMMV depending on your frame/stem design.

Sir, I commend you for even going out in that weather in the first place. I'm not one for heat and I'd just melt into a puddle in that kind of temperature.
