  1. Dang. Sometimes, I wish I lived in NY area or west coast as I've definitely seen better deals on CL in those areas than in Boston/MA. Some of them enough that I seriously contemplated 4 hour drive to and from NY.
  2. Canon EF-S 10-22mm ultra wide angle lens Pretty good price if you're local. I wish this was up when I bought mine last month.
  3. Your post piqued my interest until I looked up how much it costs - I/we just don't do enough grilling to justify the cost. Keep up posted how you like it when you get one.
  4. How fast (or not so fast, as it may be) is it? It's nice it can do that, but if it's anything like HD sharing on Airport Extreme performance wise, it would limit the usefulness of such feature.
  5. Hmm, tempted to try that with wife's old PowerShot (finally found after missing for the past two months), though I doubt she would appreciate it if I kill it.
  6. And of course, the size I need is sold out.
  7. x2. The description is for the original 5D and it's actually sold by "The electronics limited" not Sears.
  8. x2. Keep in mind AT&T ETF is now $325 or something around there.
  9. iPod touch for my little brother's bleated graduation gift.
  10. I don't think so, as you'd still need a separate computer to stream from, since the new one doesn't have accessible storage space.
  11. I know that Squeezebox server (or whatever it is called now) can be installed directly on some NAS, meaning you won't need another computer (NAS is a computer, after all) for Squeezebox chain to work. I don't know the details of how to go about this, though (i.e., I'm absolutely no fucking help). I personally like Dan's idea the best, especially considering how flakey Squeezebox can be with music library.
  12. That's what I've read/heard as well (and some say it's soft at almost all apertures). I mostly put it up here for fun (i.e., I figured no one would actually go buy it).
  13. Found it, though it hasn't been made into a shirt yet, at least not at Threadless. Monster in the closet
  14. Thanks. When I read that you're trying to move away from APS-C/digital, for some reason I imagined you lugging around a large format camera around Western MasNoNoNoNoNoNosetts. I thought about Tokina, but Canon is 1mm wider (possibly more as Tokina's wide end is supposedly closer to 12mm than 11mm), I didn't need faster aperture, and focal length gap was smaller to my next lens (35mm). I also have irrational fear of 3rd party lenses not working in future. As for the Sigma, that bulbous end scares me.
  15. Damn, Al, that sounds painful. I hope you feel better soon and that they have better treatment for you this time.
  16. Please tell me that's a t-shirt.
