Took my daughter out for her first ice skating. She had a good time, but now my back hurts from holding her up most of the time - didn't help that I hadn't skated in over a decade. Apparently, ice skating is not like riding a bike, at least not for me.
I take it you actually used the sliders in LR, not just check the remova CA box? I think you should just stop with 85G at this point. Actually, can you start trying out the new 20 1.8G to weed out bad copies for rest of us?
FWIW, Nate, if you don't mind getting one used/refurbished, D800/E is cheaper than D750, not to mention D750 won't be back in stock unit later in February.
Most likely a strep throat, at least according to my doctor. Put me on antibiotics and feeling a better today.
EDIT - Looks like my phone cut off half of what I actually typed.
Staying home sick again with what is looking increasingly like an actual flu (seeing a doctor today). Between this and my kids being sick, I've gone into work once this week.
Took the day off to stay home with my sick daughter - it seems she's been picking up everything this year at her preschool. Now waiting to hear back her strep test.
This is the reason why I wish Nikon would add the "AF-ON" button to high-end consumer/enthusiast models. I know you can assign the "AE-L/AF-L" button to do the same thing, but that button is further in toward viewfinder just enough to be uncomfortable in use.
How's the black finish on the body, Jacob? The closest shop (a BestBuy, of all places) that actually has camera in stock only has the silver model.
Speaking of lens cap, the one on Sigma 35 is also pretty useless.
^ I really hope USB-C will succeed, if only for the reversible connector.
On a completely unrelated note, attemtped to install Hackintosh (on a separate drive) for shits and giggles, then promptly gave up. Too much effort.
^ Unfortunately, no. That would've been a nice feature, though. No wonder if they could add it with future updates.
FWIW, the Sigma software interface is terrible. A better translation/localization to English would help greatly.
