I've stopped using it since it kept making me listen to weird crap.

So I figured out the problem. I had songs in iTunes "unchecked" while doing something on it, and Squeezebox takes out "unchecked" songs from the library (as I have Squeezebox configured to use my iTunes library). So this whole thing was an user error.
