  1. Got this on e-mail today. Took them long enough.
  2. ^ I had a guy flash his high beam at me on 495. I slowed down for him.
  3. Got home from work and shoveled so I can park my car. Considering icing my left hand/wrist to relieve some pain and I won't be able to find out the reasons behind the pain for bit longer now that my doctor has canceled the appointment for tomorrow. Trying to gauge when I'd need to start shoveling again in the morning so I can be at work by 7.30. Why in the fuck didn't I get a snow blower this winter?
  4. 14-20 inches over Tuesday through Wednesday. FML
  5. FWIW, not many folks over at the Steve Hoffman forum like the 2009 remasters. There are no consensus on if the 1994 remasters are better than the original CBS CDs, and it appears to be an album by album thing. Here's one thread from SH - Rolling Stones post Abkco CDs: 2009 Remasters, Virgin Remasters or Original CBS CDs? I have a copy of Tattoo You somewhere, but I have no idea what version/remaster it is, or where the sucker is at the moment.
  6. ^ Bit of an underestimate of the childcare cost, though, methinks. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9nTPX4JW_Ts&feature=player_embedded
  7. How long were they going to make you wait had you opted to keep your custom order, Jacob?
  8. OP/TECH Sling Strap adaptor and another 8gb CF card.
  9. Just finished raking some of the snow off of the roof. To do this, I had to trudge through 2-3 feet of snow around the house. Now I'm wet and freezing on the bottom half and sweaty and disgusting on the top half.
  10. Good luck on the job, Todd! Nate, jebus, I hope your nail/finger heals quickly. I'm wincing in pain just reading it. As for me, finally got around to shoveling out a path for our mailman so we can get our mails again. I didn't have time to do it on Thursday morning before I needed to leave for work and then I was too tired to care the last two days after I got home from work. Now my stupid left wrist/thumb/fingers are yelling at me for doing manual labor - I really hope my the appointment on Wednesday can figure out what's wrong with them.
  11. Just finished shoveling the driveway (I'd have waited, but I still need to be at work by 7.30am).  Took less than usual time since we just gave up on having two usable parking space and I parked behind my wife's car. Apparently, the town plow decided that two and half winters of being nice to us was good enough - there was over 10 feet (in length) of packed snow at the end of our driveway, at least a foot deep. It has been a lovely way to start my morning.
  12. Wait, Utah has a state cooking pot?
  13. Not a deal per se, but Canon has S95 refurb for $319, which comes out to about $350-360 after shipping and tax. Not that big of a saving but just about the only place that has the camera in stock right now.
  14. Hopefully not, though I'm afraid what could be causing pain for two weeks with no obvious external indications.
  15. It can be used both as a noun and adjective.
  16. Great news on your leg, Reks. As for me, finally got around to changing my craptacular PCP to someone who I hope will be better (won't be that hard) and made appointment for my left wrist which has been in various degrees of pain for the past two weeks.

  18. With another storm incoming mid-week, I need those kids in my neighborhood.
  19. Funny. I'm sure he's hoping for yet another snow day come this Tue/Wed/Thu.
  20. Recently, I picked up a ColorRight - as it was on a relatively large discount from the retail and I had some balance left on my PayPal account. While I can't comment on how it compares to other white balance discs, I'm rather impressed with the results over the last two days of using it. I'll see how it holds up as I try it out in more different setting/lighting.
