Salt Peanuts

Went out to a nice dinner with wife and daughter to take advantage of the restaurant week here. While waiting our entree, the group that was seated near us asked for (and granted) change in seating, few tables away from us. We suspect they didn't want to be sitting near a baby. To her credit, Libby did really well at the restaurant, eating her food and appeared to have enjoyed herself there (and no, she didn't cry once).

Just catching up with the thread - sorry to hear about everyone's losses and sad news. What Reks said. Called my mom earlier today to see if she'd gotten hold of any of our relatives in Japan - she hadn't. They should all be okay as most of them live on the western side of the country, unless, of course they were in the area on a trip or something.

Dang, Todd, that's pretty hefty. As for cat food, we feed ours Science Diet wet food (chunky ones) and Royal Canin dry food.

Dang, what is with all the illness that is befalling here? I had a doctor's appointment earlier in the week (not for the flu, though I did talk about it) and it was decided I need to wear my wrist/thumb splint on my left hand indefinitely due to tendinitis. Apparently, it's not severe enough or hasn't gone on long enough to justify exploring more invasive options (e.g., cortisone shot, surgery).

This is because human eyes do much better job of adjusting to available light as compared to your camera. You may think there are enough lights, but there are generally not enough lights for in most indoor locations/situations without cranking up ISO, lowering shutter speed, using a flash, etc.

Good excuse to get a backup body.
