Had a very successful 1st birthday party for Libby. Both my wife and I were bit stressed out about it the past couple of days, but everything went well and everyone appeared to have a good time. Now we need to find places to put all the new toys/books that she received.

It's hard for SD1 to succeed when it's more expensive than Canon and Nikon's top offerings (save for 1Ds Mk III) on top of the fact its features/peripheral functions are inferior to its intended competition.

They're probably not considering it material defect or workmanship issue. Either that or $50 is for cleaning the earpieces.

How is/was it? The numerous ramen places are one of few things I miss about Japan. I really should try out the ones in Boston, but I hate driving into Boston.

Bean that fits me really well and have been wearing them for the past 15 years or so. Actually, they recently replaced my original pair for free under their lifetime satisfaction guarantee.

Supposedly, the street price will be ~$6900. A lot less than the msrp, but still more expensive than just about all of its competition.

I have my iMac serving as a de fact network storage, but it's far from optimal On topic, I bought few garden/yard items including new sprayer and couple of those quick-release thingies for my hoses. Of course, I got home only to find that my main hose is busted so now I need to get a new hose as well.

I just got out the shower clean and dry after spending the last 3 hours pressure washing our house. It took longer than expected since the pressure washer was leaking like a sieve at the handle/trigger, thus much less resulting pressure. Lesson of the day - even if the outside temperature is in low 70s, the faucet water is still really cold at this time of the year.

That sucks, Mike. I've basically given up on mine with my ear issues along with some fit issues, which I'm guessing came from change in my body weight since they fit fine after sending them back for a refit.

I'd agree at least for P&S cameras, but I'd hope folks who are dropping decent chunks of money isn't making decision solely on pixel count.
