  1. Happy Birthday!
  2. RIP Richard.
  3. I've been waiting Apple to get a big screen for a long time. Extremely late to the party but finally arrived. The only thing that sucks about size is having it in the pocket, but my eyesight is more important and the tiny screen sucks to look at.
  4. I miss Steve Jobs.
  5. Not to be unoriginal but (those ^) match my picks almost exactly. Billy then Ella if I had to choose. I'd like to add Nina Simone somewhere also. I'd add Oscar Peterson with Bill. For trumpet: Satch and Miles are my obligatory favorites, but aside from those two, I'd say Art Farmer is a personal favorite. sax: Coltrane then Rollins. Bass: Ray Brown. Drums: Gene Krupa. Subject to change without notice.
  6. Me neither. Is it that hard to reach in your pocket and grab your phone?
  7. RIP, Joan.
  8. My condolences, Ric & family. RIP, Miko
  9. Happy Birthday, Tom!

  12. ^ Exactly, very few people I know have it for the reason mentioned.
  13. Thanks all! Agreed, a fortunate outcome, considering.
  14. My sister's house is a complete mess (Napa). Her chimney collapsed, almost everything destroyed, but no injuries which is what matters. I didn't even feel it in San Jose. I was in the last quake in Napa, a 5.1, we were very close to the epicenter. It dumped everything from the cupboards, chimney's collapsed on the street next to us, etc. It was very dramatic to wake up to. My sister said this one was 10 times worse. threw her mattress off the box springs with them on it, etc, etc. Glad everyone here was far enough from the epicenter. I'm hoping the wineries didn't dump too much wine. This is going to be a pricey one.
  15. Very nice deal.
  16. RIP, Don Pardo.
