@HiWire Thanks for your impressions. They caused me to try the deluxe pads, and as you stated, it improved the hp-2s in the areas you pointed out. The flats are going into a zip lock bag for the foreseeable future.

I use the Fellow Stagg kettle. I brew right over a cup, but that carafe looks good. Hmm, may get one myself.

I've had the Aero for a couple of weeks. I enjoy it for a relatively quick cup but pour over (Kalita 185) just tastes better to me. I found some tasty methods recently from this (recipes at the bottom) Linkey
