Obviously, a new singer, new album. So, I figured I'd listen on Quboz, hear a few power chords from a past their prime band, get bored, and move on. Well, no power chords on this album. All of the songs are mellow, acoustic, and frankly, pretty enjoyable. I've never really been into Stone Temple Pilots, but this may as well be another band with another name. A definite feeling of brooding throughout the album.

I arrived at the same conclusion. Other than french Press, the pour over is my favorite. The Aeropress is versitile but leans towards the acidic side for me. That said, I still use it regularly. I'd love to get into espresso, but kitchen counter space and cost to get it right keeps me from going down that road.

@HiWire Thanks for your impressions. They caused me to try the deluxe pads, and as you stated, it improved the hp-2s in the areas you pointed out. The flats are going into a zip lock bag for the foreseeable future.

Not only that but if you're a daily drinker it gets old fast. Tmoney's rec is probably the best bang for your buck option.
