When room treatment becomes an obsession.
  4. Very nice! whoever you are.
  5. It's hard to get excited hearing Hallelujah on this album after hearing her live performance here. It's my favorite version of Cohen's brilliant song.
  6. K.D. Lang - Hymns of the 49th Parallel Thanks Rik.
  7. Vinyl here as well.

  11. I've read and heard these words till they've become stale. But this performance moved me as if I've never heard it before and gave it meaning. Art at it's finest. I struggle to think of anything better acted.

  15. I looked into the MGs when my Clear order was delayed. From what I could tell it's pretty colored which ended my interest. This is a good comparison:

  17. Congrats indeed. They have worked out great for me. There isn't a painful aspect to the treble which is what I was worried about, just a kind of sheen on bad recordings. I think the only sure thing to step up to would be the 1266 TC from what I'm reading. I've looked at impressions from those that bought most of the top tier headphones, and as you mentioned, they seem to all have flaws that require you to own several of them and then EQ anyway. An exception seems to be the 1266 TC with an upgraded cable and an uber expensive matching amp. So, for me, the Clears seems to hit right down the middle on everything. I prefer to not EQ them.
  18. Thanks for the reminder about the Hoffman Method. It's been awhile...
