Not sure if this was posted before, saw it referenced on an author's (F Paul Wilson) email blog. Cathulhu -
The LCD-4 is twice as good as the LCD-2, and 1/3 better than the LCD-3.

Cocteau Twins - Victorialand. Just what I needed to mellow out and focus at work. Helps me build those Alternate Hierarchical Dimensions

Put together a couple pieces of Ikea furniture together for Andrew's room. He now has a normal desk and side drawers. Also just watched some of the eclipse/blood moon with Karen and some neighbors. Pretty cool, at least for a while.

I'm not embarrassed to admit I like the pretty amnesiac kicks ass while she remembers things plot, and Jaimie Alexander is kind of like Hanna meets Jason Bourne to me, Formulaic? Yeah, it resembles/steals from a few things. But I'm not looking for anything too deep, so I'll likely enjoy it unless the so-so acting gets too much in the way. I'll be curious to see how they unravel the mystery of her tattoos.

Well, hey, I watched a lot of b-grade horror flicks growing up, too. And, all 3 of us boys wanted my mother to marry a certain boyfriend after she was divorced, specifically because he watched Creature Double Feature and The Three Stooges with us. What could possibly have gone wrong....? With him, or me?

Agree with Dan. And if there is an issue with volume range between steps, you might consider some XLR attenuators inline, much cheaper than adding the volume control. Not sure they'd be great for signal quality, but may help....

I just watched that yesterday, agreed on the male lead (and some secondary characters, too). But I liked it overall for what it is.

I think it comes down to the Apps. I would have said the same thing but I see that some of the core Apps I use at work - basically Microsoft Office, Outlook/Exchange, and other customs apps I can access through Citrix App Server - are now on IOS. The barrier seems to be closing more and more, though I imagine some of the Apps would still be stronger on a true full OS machine.

"Because I always did it this way" is the WORSE excuse I hear working in IT. But it is perfectly fine for iPhone upgrades.

A few days after dad....Happy Birthday!

Many/most of us do, sorry; and there's parts of it you're not getting. A lot of it has to do with the fact that someone relatively new coming in, educated or not (and you do seem to have good experience with the Teton), and being as figuratively loud as you have been in this thread, is not looked upon so kindly here. Then the reaction to the reaction escalates it as well. I think you'll get on fine overall, I'd just recommend chilling a bit and enjoying the ride. None of us are perfect, but we're perfectly fine here.

Incredible story, Wayne.... RIP Gary.

Awesome video and pics above....! Me: spent Rosh Hashana (Jewish New Year) dinner with Karen and mother-in-law at her place's restuarant; we ended up with 2 others from the place who knew her. The wife is having some simpler memory issues but was very upbeat. The husband has major hearing issues but is an incredibly intelligent and funny man. He is 96, she is 89. What an interesting night! Turns out they spent a lot of time near where I grew up, and knew my grandparents, stepfather, and a cousin.
