That wall.....rocks Me: back to the land of the living, prep and procedure done with minimal downtime and discomfort. Two very small polyps to be checked at the lab, but overall doctor not concerned so far. I want the anesthesia I got to be OTC. Went down like a baby, and once I woke up I was quite lucid quite quickly! EDIT: Iain, I did actually get pics. But I'll refrain from posting or sending EDIT again: that was it, Chris. I heard them mention it to another patient. Yes, I guess I couldn't do that EVERY night....

That's what I have, Marc. And it AIN'T lightly..... But yeah, I've heard some horror stories about the barium drinks.

You guys had me laughing so hard liquid almost came out of my.....uhhhhhm, never mind. Dusty: my boss already played the puns with "Game of Thrones" and your same wish..... And Iain: I'll PM you the pics, with the doctor's autograph. Thankfully, this time my head will be out of there

The Knuckledragger 3rd Memorial Slow Forum Post

I ALMOST lasted! I used to work with a woman who came from Russia, she had seen him (and even met him; he was apparently quite popular). "They" wouldn't allow him to sing an American song, at least the words, so he took the tune....and the rest is history. -

PS Audio is discontinuing the NuWave Phono Converter and has dropped the price to $999 from $1899. I remember their older phono stage was pretty decent, and this one has an ADC allowing you do rip LP's digitally to 24/192 or DSD. Mighty tempted to try this out.....

Yup, as Al says/implies, we got them - and enjoyed them - here as well. RIP Sylvia.

Oh, wow fuck fuck fuck.....ELP was my first REAL big musical love. Back in the early 70's, my brother had all their albums to date, and kept getting them as they came out up to and including Welcome Back My Friends.... One of my early favorites was Pictures At An Exhibition, because they covered "Nutrocker" which had become the Boston Bruins hockey theme. And then again, still in my youthful days, finding out that Toccata was used for the Creature Double Feature theme song... I will always remember the image of him with his high boots, surrounded by rows of keyboards, going absolutely nuts playing like a madman.... RIP..... EDIT: WTF? "gunshot wound to the head..."? Oh, gawd.....

Sounds potentially good, Jacob. With those high verbal equivalents, you'll have less people competing with you

I made a rack very much like this many years back, with white top laminated MDF shelves. I added plastic washers so the nuts wouldn't mark the shelves as badly. I also only used 3 rods, as I liked the tripod balancing (and less holes to drill); even though the back rod would in theory be in the way of the wires, it wasn't bad at all. I did end up putting foam pipe wraps around the back rod, though, so wires wouldn't rub and scratch on the threading. All in all, was not that difficult to do! Gave it away when I moved to our new house, but often thought about making another......
