RIP Judge Wapner. I didn't watch Peoples' Court a lot, but he seemed so much better than the Reality-Drama Court TV on now. My favorite ever episode featured a couple members of the band Surf Punks. Sadly, they lost, as they didn't take things seriously.

Indeed, wow, too young. RIP.....

Happy Birthday! Leisure or not, hope it's a great one

Didn't really know him/his work too well. But anyone that puts up with Hannity that long must be nearly a saint! I like his line: "You fight fire with water" (instead of fight fire with fire). RIP

No, he'll get it better than any other versions. But it still won't be right.

RIP Larry.....incredible legacy.

2 driver, dettach. cable in-ear earbuds under 75.
skullguise replied to csongi12xme's topic in Headphones
These will do very well. Two drivers (one per side), and cables detach if you pull them hard enough. Not so much like Bass, more Salmon in their color..... and like $9 on Amazon- 6 replies

RIP William Myers, aka George The Animal Steele. He was most well-known/visible a little after I stopped watching Wrestling in the late 70's; but he was quite the character, and the dichotomy of his personal life as teacher and coach was pretty amazing. Loved his commercial for IBM.... http://www.espn.com/wwe/story/_/id/18705322/wwe-hall-famer-george-animal-steele-dies-79

Happy Birthday, celebrate it by continually getting better!

OK, now I need to watch it. Eating Raoul likely makes my top ~15 movies.....and I like that style of black humor too. Paul Bartel and Mary Woronov from Eating Raoul are also in the movie Get Crazy, a silly but fun comic romp about a music theater and a New Years Eve show. Lots of great cameos/roles in that one.

You honor him with your words, and with who you are. Wonderful tributes both!

Where are the cats? Great pics, glad you got together!

Man plans, and God laughs...... Hoping everything is OK, and indeed the dam holds......

RIP.....always loved his style, so diverse and full of energy!

This is my usual one, I live about 2 miles from it; but haven't been there in a while. I think Stretch is right that they've improved, but ONLY if you come relatively prepared. My wife didn't have to wait long in Lawrence when my son got his permit, BUT she missed one piece of the application and information, so had to come back. For my last renewal I pre-filled the form online, and I was in & out in about 10 minutes, including the eye test! Not in Lawrence, but Wilmington (and fairly busy otherwise).

Yup, you nailed it Dan. To sweeten the pot, we have 1 team member in from Amsterdam who doesn't drive, and another team member from South Carolina is due in Monday morning. She DOES drive normally, but I'm pushing my boss to get her a car service; would be very worried with her driving around with a nasty storm leftover....

RIP Hans and Mike. I remember the Boston Bruins picking up some Red Wings not-so-great player at a large price, just because the owner was stupidly competitive with Ilitch. Big overpayment, and Ilitch (and many Red Wing fans) were laughing quite hard at us. But a great and smart owner, did a lot for that team and the game of hockey.....

Same here! Though I made sure I had put some Gentle Giant on, he did still curse me for not having any of the aforementioned Porcupine Tree....

Pretty sure Lederman is correct (and pronounced like Letterman), his username is davederek. He's a good guy, had been messaging him off and on for years until we finally met at a Spring NY meet a few years back.
