So apparently hockey interest has waned quite a bit here, but wanted to start a thread for the playoffs, round 2 and on. Liking the Bruins, they were so much fun to watch this year and just got out of the first round. Toronto just matched up very well with them, and I'm hoping the regular season match-up with the Lightning carries into this series. Just finished watching the Caps & Pens game, glad Caps won this. Series will be great to watch, some great skill, physical play, and genuine dislike going on here. As a Bruins fan, hoping the Bruins get to the next round, I want to see this series go 7 games and get them all tired out Happy also to see SJS tie up the series with Vegas, though I think Vegas will go on to win the series.... And WPG and Nashville series should be exciting, two talented, fast, and strong teams.....

Hate to say it, I'm with you Dusty. I think some of these will catch like earworms, but usually if there's more of a novelty aspect like (as you suggest for slight similarity) Die Antwoord..... Always like Tracey Thorn, though......solo or in EBTG......

RIP to one of our cats, Gryphon "Diablo" Just got back Saturday from 2 weeks in Australia, and while we knew he had some issues, it turned out to be a large and aggressive tumor of some sort. According to our neighbor watching the house and cats, the "eaten" food amount dropped significantly on Thursday. We took him in today, got the bad news; then I got Andrew at school so he could say goodbye. Pics from when we first got him (he's the tuxedo cat), and a couple years ago. RIP bud.....

Second day in Sydney, lovely city this is. We're very close to the Harbor....when we got here, we took a walk down to the harbor and looked through a nice local market at an area called the Rocks. Got some absolutely amazing licorice there, the maker is a fucking genius at bringing some of the most unexpected ingredients together to make a delicious treat. Then got a distant pic of the Opera House (we'll tour it later), but some big-ass thing was in the way. Today, we did a hop-on-hop-off tour of the city, stopped in a few places including Bondi Beach, Chinatown, several market areas, and then I walked back to the hotel while Karen is still shopping Lot of walking, but enjoying this a lot!

Hmmm, lost all track of her since she was in Helium back in the day....need to research and listen..... For some reason, I had it in my head that she worked with 10,000 Maniacs for a tiny bit after Natalie Merchant left, but I don't see any reference to that (not that I looked hard).

And I'm sure Alex gets licensing/royalty revenue, while assuming none of the risk (quality, repairs, etc.) anymore....

Definitely a bit odd, and sad. I assume they will keep their other markets (phones, etc.) in China domestic market (?)...... As good as they were, maybe they NEEDED the volume they didn't have to best maintain their operating model. They certainly packed a lot into a decent-priced device.

Oh, fuck, the Easter Cookies (and the words) are so bad....but so good.....
