That looks like Gryphon electronics on top....that's how we named one of our cats (Gryphon Diablo).

My oldest brother had a ton of music, my early years were definitely influenced by him. He had some Ozark Mountain Daredevils that I do remember liking....but never really got into them on my own. Still, RIP Steve.....

Cowboy Junkies last night, at a nice theater near the town in which I grew up. In all the years I liked them (and used to lust and love after Margo Timmins in their early days), had never seen them before and it was a great experience. And while they (we all) have aged....they were still so beautiful and so cool. The only negative was some folks in front of me, a bit down the row, that were talking loudly and one was on her phone a lot. I actually took a moment to chew them out quietly but ultra-firmly, getting a pat on the back from the guy immediately behind them.

I just downloaded the Fela Kuti live album with Ginger Baker, hope to listen soon.....too many social things planned by the wife, it's tough trying to be a reclusive social hermit! ?

I just finished Beware of Mr. Baker.....a lot I didn't know......great watch......

Oh, man.....RIP Ginger.....

So somber yet lovely....it almost makes me want to cry.....

Actually enjoyed this a bit! Thought it would be way over-the-top a la William Shatner, but it was kind of regular music. The difference was I really liked the song selection, some great New Wave from the 80's - Echo & The Bunnymen, Lords Of The New Church, Jesus & Mary Chain - as well as other hits from 70's onward. Nothing really special, but just enjoyed hearing the songs.....

My rare post to this thread..... Bean-less Chilli, made with "alterna-meat" of Ground Camel. Really quite yummy, even as leftovers....
