And now what did you do TODAY?
We got up to our place in Maine, is good to be away from the same walls. Took a ride into Kennebunkport, and was pretty disappointed to see most people NOT wearing masks either, despite signs all over the place with guidelines saying to do so. Karen would step FAR away from people if we passed them, I think some got the idea but didn't give a shit. But we did get to see some good ocean views, and got some decent food for tomorrow's lunch. We'll order and do curbside tonight. I'll be back home tomorrow but Karen will likely stay one more night. Good for her soul! Pic from Cape Porpoise.....

Kerry Design mini GRHV\GRLV and JoaMat mini T2 Group Buy
Sorry to hear, Doug....I had FedEx damage some nice speakers recently sent to me. Took almost 2 months, lots of pictures and documentation, but I got the claim settled.....second time I've "beat" them even when they tired to delay or deny.

The Never Ending Search for a Music Server
The ease of use is great indeed, Jim! I have a core setup on NUC's in my home and in my Maine condo. It's easy to switch the license back and forth, so I can enjoy that anywhere. I have 5 end-points at home, and (when set back up, if I can ever get there) 2 in Maine. Only use TIDAL and local libraries for now, may give Qobuz a try, and if Roon integrates with the Amazon service, we'll see about that.....

The Never Ending Search for a Music Server
I just sold a Sonore MicroRendu (old HW rev, old SW) for $250. I just ordered all ^^^^^ for a little over $100, and I get Wireless included, which the Rendu's don't have....VERY nice! Thanks Marc!

The Knuckledragger 3rd Memorial Slow Forum Post
I have told this to many, but since I was able to vote, I have participated in every Presidential election. I am 55 now. In ALL those years, I have been hard-pressed to say that I have voted "for" someone very positively. It has basically been the lesser of two evils in my mind. And that's what politics is about to me. Bush Sr. and Obama may be the closest I've been to voting FOR someone..... I look back to the Nixon-Kennedy debates. It was reported at the time that Nixon's appearance and "edge" had cost him dearly; that media visibility was now rising in importance. Add to that the shame put on the Presidency by Nixon's paranoia and the Watergate scandal, and it's no surprise that media coverage - real or fake - dictates so much of voter political response now. People are more characters playing roles than servants to the public. And I also agree a mention above that it's often about power as well. I also look back to the CONTENT of the Nixon-Kennedy debates, and yearn for current politician to discuss matters the way those two did. It's horrendous now..... The last election, and this one, are low bars for those lesser of two evils for me.....but at this stage, I am firmly in the anyone-but-trump camp.
