My wife is awesome. For our engagement, I bought her the ring, and she bought me a pair of Legacy Classic Kevlar's. The coherence of that speaker to sound almost like a point source was amazing. Long since sold as house/room redesign made these impossible to place...but always loved the Legacy sound (still have a pair of Studio HD's as well).

A DBA, huh? There could have been a WHOLE lotta tech puns off that one..... "Notice how the female DBA truncates immediately before he attempts his insert statement.....he is forced to move on to another herd....."

RIP....as a kid I used to love Wild Kingdom....never really lost my fascination with animals.....

I would recommend the Dell's or Lenovo's. I HAVE had an IdeaPad (Core i7 5th Gen), and had no issues with it. But sounds like Doug has, or has heard of enough..... Haven't used Toshiba's for years, liked their business models but the consumer models were hit and miss. And I will never buy an HP laptop, I DO believe they are mostly trash for longer-term use.

Well, Bruins versus the Whalercanes in the East....even though they came out of nowhere practically, the 'Canes have a lot of great speed and some strength as well; they are hitting stride at the perfect time. Looking forward to that matchup. I loved the last couple games for the Bruins, they started to play more like many fans knew they could. I think a lot of credit goes to Columbus for not letting the bruins get into their game early on, but they adjusted better than Columbus did. It's too bad Columbus will likely lose 3 or 4 really good players as UFA's this off-season; they are a heck of a team. Game 1 will have the Bruins without one of their best defensemen, Charlie McAvoy. An unintentional hit to the head of another player. Can't say the suspension wasn't justified, but what irks me and other Bruins' fans is that Kukan, one of the the Columbus D, gave literally an elbow to the jaw of one of the Bruins; 2 minute penalty (like McAvoy's), but ultra-quiet from the horrid Dept Of Player "Safety." Just want consistency.... Will keep my eyes on the Western games, St Louis and Dallas tied 1-1 after 1st period right now. Wouldn't mind seeing St Louis versus San Jose....but we'll see.

Most of what I love from Pink Floyd is Meddle and earlier, especially Barrett-era. My nickname in High School was Syd (for several folks, not everyone called me that). I think Wish You Were Here and Animals are the only later albums I really liked.

Very sorry, Craig....RIP Cheese.......☹️

RIP Hondo, one of the all-time greats....forever will I hear his name in Johnny Most's voice: "Havlicek stole the ball...!"

Holy shit....another double OT, and Washington is eliminated. All 4 top division leaders - Tampa Bay, Nashville, Washington, and Calgary - are out in round 1. This is going to (continue to) be a very interesting playoffs!

Some folks arguing that shouldn't have been a 5-minute major. It was a VERY hard push, though, and then the second player also contributed to Pavelski nearly flipping over and landing awkwardly. I've read that the refs didn't even have their arms up initially. This may be the case of handing out punishment after seeing the injury. It could have been a 5-minute, or even a 2-minute penalty. It is what it is, though. And for Vegas to give up 4 goals like that, power play or not, is bad. So congrats to San Jose. Happy for the Bruins, they played a great game seven despite lots of 2nd period push from the Leafs. And I'm SO happy Kadri won't get to play again this year.... Now let's see if the Hurricanes can upset the Caps. Don't think they can, but a lot more surprises have happened this year.....

San Jose stays alive with the first-ever short-handed goal in > 1 OT periods..... Boston stays alive looking good in game 6. Hoping that game 7 will be the first where a team wins 2 in a row....!

Surprised someone hasn't tried to sue them for monopoly (I assume you have those type of anti-trade laws in UK?). Years back, we had a third party service that would track late "guaranteed" deliveries and recoup shipping costs for us. their cut was I think 1/3 the amount recovered, but it was still very worthwhile, and sadly profitable for them.

The top seeds in each conference have been eliminated in round one, first time ever apparently. Combined record of 1 win, 8 losses! Ouch..... Bruins don't seem to have the heart to answer Toronto's game. Some people complaining about goalie interference on Toronto's first goal last night. By letter of the law it may have been, but that wasn't the main reason why they lost. Hoping they get it together for game 6 and then even game 7! Tom, I'm loving that the Isles got through as well, especially since they swept Pittsburgh. There's a tiny bit of me that would love to see them beat Toronto in the ECF and have Tavares hand-shaking as a loser. But the bigger part of me wants the Bruins in, and even if not then for Columbus to beat Toronto.

If the Bruins can't make it, I want Columbus to go all the way in the East. Torts tends to wear his welcome out over time, but he's a good coach (and hilarious for interviews) and he has amped up that team. It looked like it took a while for them to gel with the trade deadline deals, but they are getting it together at the right time. Pretty open for who to root for in the West, wouldn't mind seeing Vegas in the finals again....

OV is a big, strong man. Sometimes cheap, but I've been a loose fan for a while, and a HUGE fan briefly when I found out he wears #8 for his mom! Was very happy he got a Cup last year. Watching the Bruins game, good series between them and the Leafs. Lots of letting the players play, but it results in Toronto fans complaining they let the Bruins do too much last game; and the Bruins fans (a few) complaining that now Toronto is getting away with more. But to me, story line of 2019 so far is Tampa Bay being down 3-0 in games....
