I've always loved the Hypex, perhaps my favorite "digital" amp type. The Ncore are very high-powered, though, probbaly well overkill for this application. Still.......

Good on the MA's Shelly! As far as the Swan's go, yeah they USED to be ordered thru AV123 (I ordered some, back when all they had otherwise were their Perpetual Technologies DAC), but that was when they were "good." Swan's actually dropped them (don't think it was vice-versa), then AV123 looked to build their own; that's when they got in trouble, and then tried to recover $ in rather ugly creative ways.

Yeah, sounds a bit like what Chord did with their buffering/re-processing of the digital signal with one of their DAC's. The more interesting potential to me is the Holm Acoustics SW, and what that does.....that sounds like a big part of the selling point for this.

Cardas is a cable brand/maker I respect, have heard and liked several of the designs in the past. But yeah, not worth the money..... Once I get my M51, the trusy Vince Vaughn Audio XLR's will be back in duty!
